Right around the corner

Very nice, clean suite. Had all the necessary needs to fulfill our stay. Very convenient to navigate to and very close to a lot of entertaining areas in and around Mt Dora. I will stay here again and recommend highly for others to do the same.

We absolutely loved the butterfly house. Lynn the host went above and beyond with her hospitality. We would definitely go back.

Comfortable and pleasant

Apartment was charming. Very clean and welcoming. It had some very nice amenities including a multi outlet charger, sensor lights and more.

Mt Dora snowbird stay.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. It is attached to the owners residence. I did however find that owner was a bit invasive regarding my right to privacy. There is a camera posted outside the door. I was told I could not have any visitors on the property without pre-approval due to her insurance requirements. Twice someone was in my apartment through the laundry room. The key if locked from my apartment would be horizontal, if locked from inside the adjacent laundry room my key would be in a vertical position. The first time I noticed this, someone had come in and turned the a,/c off. The second time I have no idea why they would be in there. Ms Lobretto Beacher offered to come in every week and clean and change bedding. That was great. What was not so great was that she would move my stuff around to her liking. She put all of my personal things in a tote without asking. The final thing that I didn't like was that after I checked out two days early. She sent me a text telling me the cleaning crew noticed three spots on the wall that weren't there before. She thought I used cleaner on the wall. ?? The spots looked like maybe the drywall had been patched and that the paint didn't quite cover the spots. The spots were in a dark area. I would recommend the apartment for a short stay. I stayed two months and felt a serious lack of privacy. I just had the feeling I was being monitored. I am a 58 year old responsible woman. Really???

We are a Retired Military Family & empty nesters. For the last 22 years I have taught cooking classes in my kitchen. I call my husband the Master Gardener as that is usually where he is manicuring our property. The Studio Apartment is attached to our home and we are always available to our guests via platform messaging, cell phone, or texting.

We are in a quite residential neighborhood on a small lane that seems like it is lost in time or from a place you dreamed about.

What makes this property unique

Great shopping, water activities, segway tours, historic Mount Dora tours, biking, walking & beautiful sunsets over Lake Dora. The Historic City of Mount Dora is located 2 miles from our location. Mount Dora is called the Festival City as we have many. There is always something to do, the list is endless. Water activities available downtown Mount Dora at the Marina. You can just kick back & relax or keep yourself very busy.
