The location and neighborhood are excellent and the home is very nicely remodeled. The furnishings need some attention. The second bathroom is in the basement and is very primitive. Towels and washcloths were not provided in sufficient numbers for four guests for three nights. Upon arrival we had difficulty getting in the house. We were able to contact the host and learned that she had given us the wrong code for the lockbox. That was a bit stressful. It wouldn't take much to make this is a really great VRBO. We would stay again.
Overall a good stay. Host is super responsive, kind and accommodating. House was very nice beautiful crown moldings with modern and period pieces for decor. Very cool space. The beds could be a little more comfortable. Would recommend and would stay again.
Clean property in historic area of Boardman. Close to shopping, restaurants & freeways. Property owner quick to respond. Enjoyed our stay!

Good Value
Pros: Great Value, Great Amenities (Kitchen, laundry, desk space etc), Good location for what I was in town for, Spacious and very charming house..
Cons: No A/C, Place was a bit messy (crumbs on floor, outside deck furniture was too dirty to sit on, some cobwebs, etc), there are a lot of personal belongings in the home (ie clothes in the closet, clothes in dresser, pictures of the family etc) which makes me feel as though I’m intruding in someone’s home rather than renting a private getaway space. Just makes it a bit harder to be comfortable is all.
All in all it was a fine place that suited my needs. Mary is a good host who made the whole process very easy. I’d surely rent this place again the next time I plan on visiting the area.
Overall we had a wonderful experience with our rental. We were moving my parents back to Boardman, OH from Atlanta, GA and needed a place to stay close by. This property is on a nice quiet street and is a charming home. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent here again.
Great place to stay! It was cozy and just as pictured. Owner responded to all questions within a few hours. Some personal belongings are in the house, but neatly stored out of the way. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. Shower was hot with a good stream, and the bathroom looked newly remodeled. We were asked not to wear shoes in the house and to water the plants, which we were happy to comply with. A couple of tiny details were overlooked, like a dirty pan in the oven and the door left open to an off limits room, but these did not detract from our overall experience. The place was adorable and perfect for our needs, and the price was very reasonable.
The house was perfect. We loved sitting on the little side porch enjoying the quite neighborhood. The house was very clean and welcoming. It had everything we need to cook, watch TV, and relax .
A very cozy Tudor style house that was update, clean and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay again, the owner was easy to contact and very hospitable.
Staying in Broadman was great. The house was super nice and had ample room for the 4 of us. The neighborhood was quiet and the house was easy to get to. The only complaint that we would have is that there is no bathroom on the main level. You either have to go upstairs or in the basement. The bathroom in the basement is not completely finished and I would not take a shower down there. Aside from that - we loved the house and would definitely stay there again!
For any and all out of towners who are planning to attend say the Boardman High 50 year class reunion this coming Sept 1 & 2 forget the hotel, this home should be your FIRST and only choice. There is but one such as this, so act FAST. You'll be glad that you did.
My husband, toddler, and I stayed at this house during our trip to visit family. The house was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. I appreciate the attention to detail with keeping the home clean and sanitized during Covid. Communication with the owner was smooth. We would definitely stay again if visiting the area.
