This property was what our family needed. Good price, and great location for us to spend a couple nights for a short ski trip. We had a great getaway. Some minor things prevent from five stars. The property has an internet router, and we could connect to it with the info provided, but there was no internet connection. In an area with low cell service, this caused a little bit of trouble, but we managed. There was also quite a bit of trash stacked up from people before us. Luckily there was a place for it to go, but we felt like we could not do anything with the small amount of trash that we accumulated over our short stay.
Had all we wanted, we would return to this property.

Rustic experience
House is big and accommodating for large groups. It has a very rustic feel, wasn't afraid of damaging anything as it was very broken in. Think your Dad's fishing cabin. Needs updated lighting and the stove only had 3 working elements. Big table, great for family-style meals and games. Close to skiing and other local attractions.

Perfect Place to Stay While Visiting Nearby Mountains
Great location and lots of places to sleep, perfect for a group of 6+
Overall this was a nice stay. The driveway was plowed but we had to shovel our way to the main door. The interior is very cozy with a nice fireplace. The only reason i couldn't give a 5 star rating is because the mattresses are very uncomfortable. My fiance and I didn't sleep well over the weekend.
Needs updates, no plowing provided after a snow storm
We were very disappointed with the quality of this place. We are not picky. We love to camp and we love simple rustic places. We also rent out our home when we travel in the summers.
That said, this place is very dated and furnished w basic furniture and appliances; the queen bed matress is about a decade past its expiration date and it was a cheap plastic matress when it was brand new. Duvet had stains on it. After the first night my partner and I shared a bedroom with my teenage son, because bunks were more comfortable. Sheets and towels were clean though and the cleaning crew did a good job. There were no reading lights by any of the beds or in the living room, just harsh ceiling lights in all bedrooms. We all like to read before we go to bed, so this felt a bit dissapointing too.
The whole place, but especially downstairs bedrooms smelled musty, which the owners/ managers tried to cover up with room fresheners.
The most dissapointing part was that we were there in January during a snow/ rain storm and they did not provide plowing. The driveway to the house is at slight incline and we struggled to get out (had to drive uphill in reverse on unplowed driveway). We reached out to vacasa (management company) number and received useless answer letting us know they are on it. We stayed for additional day/ night after the snow storm and the plow never came. We had to change our plans and had to push our cars out in order to get home. Luckily my partner was able to push us out.
Booking was easy. Place was nice and had everything we needed for our stay

It's a nice house. Unfortunately the outdoor deck has no chairs. Can be a little difficult to find the entrance to the driveway especially at night.

Hidden Gem
We had a great time! This Chalet is the perfect hidden gem. The location is key to all you are looking for in NH. From Storyland which is less than 5 minutes away to downtown North Conway this location is near everything. Take a ride to Santa’s Village which is about 55 minutes away to come back and have a nice dinner in North Conway. You can’t go wrong. A big plus you have access to a private beach on the Sacco. We will be coming back again in the Winter because this location is also near all the hot spot skiing areas.

Not impressed
Upon arrival, the house smelled of moth balls. The house was not cleaned.Pet hair on the already ripped leather ottoman, stains on the couch, sticky food residue in the refrigerator and on the interior door to the house.Food stains on the table/shelf in the living room. Bedding was stained as well. So 1st impression, not so good.I will say the point of contact got back to us right away and we were refunded some of of cleaning fee.The house has a cute set up,it just needs alot of TLC. I just wish we knew they only supplied 1 roll of toilet paper for 4 days stay for a family of 5. No guest book in the house with what to do for check in/out or welcoming you to the house. So if you are looking for less than the bare minimum, this is the house for you. Unfortunately not for a family vacation. Plus side,it is close to town.

Great location plenty on things to do
Location. Location location Storyland, Saco River with Private beach. North Conway , shopping , hiking and restaurants.
The house is nice chalet style. Has a cabin feel for those interested in not staying in a modern house that would be in a residential setting.

Rustic house - good location
Convenient location to local ski slopes and hiking trails. Quiet neighborhood. House has seen wear but still retains NE charm. Could use some updates but was sufficient for us.

Ski Shack
This house is a prefect Ski Shack to stay for those looking for a good price.
Great vacation - close to all of the ski areas and tucked into a neighborhood so it was quiet. Bedrooms are a little on the small side but the social space is excellent - plenty of room to hang out. Great fireplace too. Everything was as we expected.
The property was well maintained and everything we were looking for, cozy mountain escape only minutes away from Attitash Mountain. Very easy check-in, everything you’d need in a cabin, and loved that it was dog friendly!

Nice place to stay
Nice place to stay, carpet in bed room was soaking wet when we arrived, and the lock on the door makes it difficult to shut but other than that it was a nice place to stay.
