    Beautiful, stylish, clean apartment in the BEST location - with excellent, buzzy cafe nightlife just outside the door, several small but well-stocked shops within steps, and the briefest walk to a U-station, providing rapid access to the heart of Munich. The apartment had wonderful natural light, its own small back deck and such comfortable furnishings - a sofa that reclines! Fabulous. The apartment was perfect.

    It is clean, convenient, and comfortable. It is in a great neighborhood with transportation, restaurants, grocery stores, laundromat, and park within very easy walking distance. Property owner was very helpful in offering advice and recommendations. We would certainly stay here again.

    The property was beautiful, and the hosts were great! The location was wonderful as it was only a block from the train and we pretty much went everywhere by train. We also went out to dinner every night and there were many restaurants within of this place!

    Elke and Stephan have a great apartment that feels like home. They kept in contact prior to arrival. Stephan gave us a great orientation to the apartment and local area. This property is very clean has everything you need for your stay. The location to the Ubahn station is about a 5 minute walk. When in the Munich area next we will check the availability here first.

    Perfect location for Oktoberfest

    Clean, stylish, roomy, comfortable beds and bedding, good shower, everything was great. The owners were very nice, available and helpful. Highly recommend!

    Super apartment

    We very much enjoyed our stay at Elke’s apartment. It is a spacious property, fitted out to a high standard.The location is also excellent - quiet enough yet with a nice buzz from restaurants and bars close by. Also very convenient for the U Bahn to get around the city.

    Wonderful hosts, wonderful apartment

    Elke and Stefan are outstanding hosts and their apartment was perfect for us. A very comfortable bed, well appointed living room, excellent shower and a kitchen with everything we needed.(And don’t miss their wonderful coffee and handmade chocolates in their shop next door!)Easy access to the U-Bahn and a great neighborhood that is blissfully quiet at night.

    The stay was perfect. The owners were extremely accommodating. The location was a very short walk to U-bahn entrance and many types of amenities also within a short walk. We highly recommend this place.

    Stephan’s place is in a perfect location. It is clean with all necessities. The U-bahn is just steps away. Many groceries and pharmacies are close by as well. Everything is convenient to this location: various restaurants, shopping, markets, museums. Its easy to access. Laundry is just across the street as well. I never give reviews but this one deserves it!

    Excellent in every way

    The 5 star ratings are well deserved. The location was perfect for my needs and likes- quiet neighborhood, plenty of restaurants, anything you need is a short walk (bakery, grocery, pharmacy), and U Bahn or bus was 3-5 minute walk. The owners were responsive and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

    The apartment was impeccably clean and decorated nicely. We had everything we needed for our week stay in Munich. The area is very safe and has excellent amenities nearby (subway station, grocery stores, restaurants). The owners were lovely and available if we needed them.

    Beautiful property within walking distance to Octoberfest. Owners were very friendly and helpful. They came to the property so we could store our luggage before check in. This was a big help for us.

    Great apartment, great location

    We spent a week here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The neighborhood has a number of good restaurants; the U-Bahn is just down the block. The apartment was clean, quiet (with the windows closed prior to restaurant closing) and very comfortable. The kitchen is small, but is sufficient for breakfasts and simple meals if you want a break from the innumerable places to eat in Munich. We hope to return!

    The place at street level was surprisingly private and quiet. Beautiful natural light within, with privacy frosted window treatments allowed for a relaxing atmosphere within a beautifully modern and updated modernized apartment in a stylish residential neighborhood with excellent nearby adjacent restaurants. Within 15 min walking distance to historic bier halls and other eateries, the nearest subway station is only a short block away. The Oktoberfest beer grounds are also near but not too close. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is the smallest room but only by comparison as it is very well laid out and wonderfully appointed with everything desired. The bathroom is absolutely grand and palatial. The bedroom nice as is the large main living area. Can't say enough about how much we thoroughly enjoyed this apartment, all it has to offer, its neighbourhood and convenience for getting around. Naturally cool inside but without air conditioning, on the hot days in late May (28 - 30 degrees) the nice tall elongated fan set on the lowest setting was helpful for a good night's sleep but not needed during the daytime. Although there are restaurants across the street, the patrons and outside ambience is very quiet and we slept with the windows open and absolutely no disturbace. I would love to come back.

    Has everything - comfortable, clean, near U-Bahn

    This was our second stay in this apartment and it was just as nice as the first time. The only negative is the kitchen is small - but there are lots of places to eat nearby and by easy public transport. We especially appreciate the closeness to the UBahn and the quietness of the apartment. The hosts own the excellent chocolate shop next door and even gave us excellent coffees one day.

    Great appartment

    Had a lovely time in & around Munich & this appartment was brilliant. Not only in a fantastic location close to the Metro but with shops & restaurants nearby too. Elke & Stephan were great hosts with lots of local information & have a lovely little chocolate shop next door, as we were leaving early tuesday morning we had intended buying some chocolates to take home but unfortunately didn't realise it was closed on Mondays so don't make the same mistake as us. Highly recommend this appartment.

    Excellent!

    The apartment of Stephen and Elke is well presented, upgraded and everything has been thought of. It is in a nice neighborhood only two train stops from the city center. There are many restaurants in walking distance. The owner has a coffee and accessory shop in the building so any of your needs can be addressed promptly. This is honestly one of the best apartments we have ever rented on holiday. We give it high marks!
