We absolutely loved our stay. The home is spacious with very comfortable bedrooms in the upper level. You can tell the host has taken great care to ensure a comfortable stay. Would certainly come again. Be prepared for the drive in, there are properties around the home, however be sure to bring everything you need for your stay. We forgot to get milk on our way in and it’s about a half hour drive to the nearest grocery/gas station. This did not impede the quality of our stay, but keep that in mind.
We love staying at maria’s place. She was very communicative and attentive to our stay there.
The location is about 10 minutes from Putney Village, the Putney school, and The Greenwood School. Tons of room and we enjoyed hanging out on the back deck Watching the leaves turn and fall.
The online photos do not do this listing justice. The yard and home are even more beautiful in person.

Beautiful spot!
Although it was a beautiful location and we made the best of our stay it was a little misleading. The discrimination didn’t let you know that you shared the yard with another rental.
The house was clean but there was mice which isn’t a huge deal being in the middle of the woods how ever it was unsettling to have them just running around at night.
We stayed for a weekend for our girls trip and the water heater didn’t work until the night before we left. The host did have someone come out and fix it but that took up 3 hours of our time while a man came in to fix it. And no one was able to shower until the night before leaving.
I feel like when you pay almost $900 to stay somewhere and not even have hot water then the host should maybe offer a free night next time or reimburse you some of your payment. How ever the only thing the host did was call us to make sure she didn’t get a bad review since this was her job. Kinda of disappointing.
I get that things happen and even through these little issues we did have a great time! The hostess did respond when messaged and the place was beautiful!

This place is gorgeous! Really beautiful property, down a long secluded dirt/gravel road. Several friends and family stayed here with me for my sister's wedding. The hummingbirds in particular are just amazing (dozens of them!!). We slept eight folks here, one on the futon and one on a blow up bed. I will say the bedframe in the primary bedroom is a bit squeaky. But overall a lovely place to stay, very nice setup for hosting people for dinner.
This is the only home share I have been to where the photos do not do it justice - it actually looks better! The entry and directions were simple, the place was setup and ready to go and everything was where it should be. The heat and hot water worked great, the kitchen is perfect and the deck is beautiful and in great condition. We will definitely return!!
