Mrs Shirley is a sweetheart and provided a great cabin for our needs. We had plenty of room for our 20’ flatbed trailer and SxS. Cabin is close to the trails and about 4 miles to the General Store. The cabin provides few cooking options so bring supplies for that, also scrub brush for cleaning dishes. Plenty of hot water after a long day of riding. Enjoy…. We will definitely be back to enjoy Shirley’s little peice of paradise.

Oh thank you, and I added a ceramic griddle and some sponges, when you return if you need anything else or see anything that is needed please let me know
This cabin had everything you’d need for a nice weekend riding at windrock. Between the host, the neighbors, and their animals you’re met with the upmost hospitality and quick responses if needed.
The owner was kind, the place was great, and close to Windrock. Would have liked to had the bunk beds in the pic but we still enjoyed our stay very much!
Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
The cabin was spotless, the beds comfortable, and the hot water plentiful. You will need to bring your own coffee cups and microwaveable plates; however, Keurig pods and plastic plates and cups were provided. The cabin has wifi but there’s little internet or cell service at the cabin or at Windrock in general. Neighbors are much closer than the pictures show but it was quiet and there was ample parking for the truck, trailer, and RZR. We were able to ride the RZR to Windrock either on the roads or out the back way to Trail 36. Shirley responded immediately to our texts and is familiar with the area. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.
It was just perfect! The cabin had everything you need to stay for your riding trip. Room for your toys and trailer and vehicle. A nice hot shower with all the supplies you need for after your ride. Heaters that work very well. Comfortable beds. And easy access to the trails whether you enter through the trail close by or ride the roads to the park. Hosts are very friendly and very helpful! Will definitely come back!
The cabin was perfect for a shower and good night’s sleep before hitting the trails @WindRock the next morning. Clean and smelled new.
There did appear to be a trail to the left of the cabin. We didn’t use it to access WindRock, and looking at the trail map, I’m not sure which trail it would have been. It seemed like it wasn’t an “official” trail, but that may have been navigator error. We ended up just using the WindRock main entrance and parking lot.
One tip I’d give: Write down the lock box code when you receive it! I had no internet service with Verizon or AT&T, and there’s no WiFi there. No lockbox code, no entry. Luckily I had phone service, at least!
The property manager was amazing. I really appreciated her help! She saved the day with the lockbox!!

We are so glad you liked our cabin. And we hope to see you again. If you come back and stay with us trail 36 is the trail you'd look for on the map. Pulling out of the driveway you would have taken a left and stayed straight it turns into a dirt road and about 1/4 of a mile up trail 36 turns up the hill. Again thank you for staying with us and we look forward to seeing you again.
