So relaxing!! The rooms were dark and quiet. The beds were good. The jackrabbits and deer put on a show at daybreak. It was great to get out in the country and decompress!!

This is a lovely country retreat, amazingly peaceful in the midst of the Round Top Fall Show. Laura is a fantastic host! The home is cozy and clean, comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. It's the little touches that make it extraordinary such as the basket of courtesy toiletries in the master bath, sweet treats in the kitchen, plenty of dvds and so many excellent books to peruse. The location is perfect for visiting Round Top & the surrounding shopping areas. In less than 10 minutes you can be parked and shopping! My girlfriends loved the trip!

Great stay in between Fayetteville and Round Top

We had a great girls’ trip this weekend. Beautiful (and quiet) setting, and it was a perfect spot for shopping the Round Top antique show. Will definitely keep this spot in mind for future stays!

We loved staying at the Lazy Oaks while we were attending our niece's wedding in Round Top. The house sits on a lovely property -- we enjoyed the beautiful oak trees and the porch late at night and early morning. The house was perfect for our needs, really clean, and well stocked. Our communication with the owners before, during, and after our visit was amazing.

Really Pretty, Easy Weekend Getaway

A perfect halfway meetup point between Houston and Austin! The property was great and clean with just a few more bugs inside than we were expecting. They catered the stay well to dog owners (we both brought our dogs). Looking forward to returning!

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and that it was convenient for you. We love how close it is to Houston as well. We are very sorry there were bugs when you arrived. As much as we love the country, we get tired of dealing with them, too! Sounds like with this wet spring we're having, we need to increase the frequency of the exterminators. Thank you so much for letting us know!
