Fuller View Cabin - A Mountain Cabin overlooking Sweet Home Alabama!

** This Property is not on Smith Lake - but is less than a mile from Smith Lake Park and Boat Launch.** Convenient to Interstate 65.

Winter has arrived in our little slice of paradise. Spend your mornings sipping coffee on one of two porches, spend your afternoons hiking at Hurricane Creek, fishing at Smith lake, or spending a lazy afternoon taking in the sights and sounds of nature. Then spend your evenings cooking out, or enjoying the crisp winter air relaxing in the hot tub with an adult beverage. Your perfect weekend getaway is right around the corner!

Our family immediately fell in love with the idea of having a cabin with Gatlinburg- like views right here in Cullman.. Better yet - the property is less than a mile from Smith Lake Park and Boat Launch on Lewis Smith Lake (and our other family owned lake rentals that are near the park).

This cozy cabin may look small but features three bedrooms and two full baths. It also features a viewing room / den from the ground level, a large viewing area / great room from the second floor, and a third floor loft. It also features a two story viewing deck complete with a hot tub overlooking the horizon. On a nice clear night when you're relaxing in the hot tub looking up at the stars you may think you are in the best planetarium on the planet. But in fact, you're looking up at a display of stars and planets better than any planetarium.

Enjoy Smith Lake either from the public swimming area in the park or from a rented boat launching from the park boat launch.

Our Fuller View cabin offers Gatlinburg-like views less than a mile from Smith Lake Park and it's public boat launch. It is also within driving distance of most tourist attractions North Alabama has to offer.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Amazing place and amazing views. Only downside (and it’s not a big deal) is there was much more traffic then we expected and there a neighbor across the street. Given the cabin and location though we would definitely stay again and definitely recommend

Lovely cabin

Cabin is great. Hot tub is wonderful. There was more traffic on the road than we expected but that's not the house's fault. The A-frame cabin is gorgeous inside, absolutely beautiful. We had a very relaxing weekend away.

We had a perfect getaway at this cabin! We were in town all the way from Louisiana for my sisters college graduation! You can tell the owners put a lot of love and care into making this a home away from home! Our 5 year old absolutely loved the loft, or hideout as he called it! Will definitely recommend and book again in the future!

Beautiful cabin & view

We loved everything about the cabin, especially the views. Check in process was easy, and communication with Jay was great & timely. The cabin had everything we needed. The only complaint we had was the proximity to the road. The cabin sits directly on the road, and there was a lot of traffic. Aside from that, we were very happy with our stay!

Cozy Cabin

Had a good time relaxing with friends in this cozy cabin. Great view of the area from the patio and deck on the second level. Beds were comfortable and having controls for the air conditioning in each room was wonderful. Hot tub was unfortunately not operational, but the host worked with us to provide a much earlier check-in time. Overall tidiness could have been better, there were a lot of cobwebs and live/dead spiders inside the common areas and bedrooms. Not a big deal for a cabin out in the country, but when we sat down at the table we got cobwebs all over our legs- so overall good experience but dusting needed to take place.

Perfect Relaxing Getaway!!

First of all, let me start out by saying that the owner of this property is great! We had some unexpected changes on our stay and not only did he work with us but we also got to check in early. He was always fast at communicating anytime I sent an email which was great. (You don’t get this most of the time when emailing) Now to the property, It is and was exactly as described. The cabin was very clean and very nice. A little bit of old with a modern touch. I loved it! Not only was the cabin great but the porches and hot tub were an extra plus! You have a great view of the country side from the porches and the hot tub. I definitely would recommend for a relaxing getaway and it’s definitely a place I would go back to! I would love to see it in the fall!

We purchased The Fuller View in 2020. The house is named after our family and adds to our portfolio of other vacation rental properties in the area - Grace's Retreat and Little's on the Lake. Our family loves getting everyone together. This house brings family and friends together throughout the year.
