About this property

Lake living in a relaxed family and pet-friendly home

If you’re looking for the perfect large gathering space, there is room for even the extended family here! Take a trip that is reminiscent of going to your grandparents’ log home or summer camp. Swim, swing, make S’mores, work puzzles, play board games, kayak, bring your own boat for fishing or play or rent one locally. There is a boat ramp and a loading dock, but limited overnight docking.

Discount available for 7 day rental ($300+ total).

PET/ALLERGY WARNING: Your well-behaved pets are welcome, but be aware there are cats and dogs that live here when you’re not visiting.

Keeping in mind the many small families that make up a large family like ours or a friend group, each room is designed to accommodate two adults and one or more additional children.

A permanent ramp is located at the side entrance of the home for convenience, and a portable ramp for back entrances is available. Raised toilet seat with support handles is available.

There are two security cameras/doorbells on the premises covering front and back yard areas/pool.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Leave used beds unmade, not stripped.
If physical keys are used (house or amenities) leave on the kitchen island. If using boat ramp, always lock the chain before leaving, going out and upon return.
Let us know via the “Oops” log of any broken dishes or maintenance issues so we can take care of it before the next guests arrive.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Note: Security cameras (2) are on the grounds covering back of house/pool and front yard.
Surfboards in loft area and all hanging quilts are NOT for guest use.

We have enjoyed sharing our home with friends and family for the past several years, and now that we are empty nesters and work from home 100%, “home” can be anywhere.

Why they chose this property

We want to see other families and friends have the opportunity to gather in one place in order to make some wonderful memories together. We’ve used the dynamics of our families to create spaces for the whole family to socialize as well as for the small families that make it up.

What makes this property unique

A home that can comfortably sleep 22-24 people is hard to come by, and it is important to be able to share time together without hotel-hopping. Of course, when needed, you can sneak away on a local adventure, sit outside, swim, or read a book in your own space.
