This place was absolute paradise. The house is even more beautiful in person, and being on a private Island made the entire experience feel incredibly special & peaceful. One of the best parts of our stay was having a five-star, French-trained chef. It made such a difference being able to completely relax and enjoy our vacation without having to worry about grocery shopping or cooking. Everything felt effortless. Walking around the Island felt like a magical little place. There is truly not one thing I would have changes. Thank you Romain for making this an unforgettable stay! We can't wait to come back.

Fare One Island Stay

My family and I stayed four nights on Fare One Motu and it surpassed our expectations. The property sits on a prime location right on the water. Beautiful views and great snorkeling/swimming right out front. The place has been recently renovated and has all the modern amenities you could ask for. The kitchen and dining room set up is spectacular and was the focal point of our family time together. Our on-site host Romaine is also a great French chef (20 years of experience as a professional chef) and provided excellent meals when we wanted someone else to do the cooking. He was a great host and chef and was a big part of making our stay very special. It is hard to imagine anything closer to the ultimate tropical paradise getaway than this place.Highly recommended!

Whales, sunsets and pure blissWe've just returned from Nicholas' beautiful villa on Motu Fareone, and it truly is paradise on earth. This was our third visit to Moorea. We've stayed at the Manava Beach Resort and the Sofitel before, but this was by far our best experience. It's hard to describe how beautiful the motu is, from the surrounding lagoon to the incredible view from the deck. Even our photos don't do it justice. Every day we watched humpback whales playing in the ocean just beyond the lagoon. The sunsets were outstanding, and snorkelling right off the beach in front of the villa was a daily treat. The villa is beautifully decorated, spotless, and flows easily between indoors and outdoors. The kitchen and dining area open onto the outdoors, so you can cook and eat with full views of the lagoon. The separate cottage worked perfectly for our family and gave our two young adult sons their own space and privacy.Nicholas was a pleasure to deal with and answered all our questions quickly before we arrived. Romain was a star. He was always happy to help, transported us to the main island for excursions, and gave us great local advice. We were lucky enough to have him cook for us twice, and his meals were delicious. For privacy, beauty and genuine hospitality, Nicholas' villa is in a class of its own. We can't recommend it highly enough and are already dreaming of our return.

We have stayed on Motu Fare One before. By far this is the best place on Moorea, I know because this is the 10th visit to Moorea over a 25 yr span, in which we have stayed at Hilton and other VRBO’s. The coral in the lagoon is some of the healthiest around Moorea. There is even a research center right next door conducting studies of coral and aquatic life. You can also have a guaranteed whale sighting from the property, with early am and just before sunset. It is also nice to sit at sunset and watch the Frigate birds all come back inland along with beautiful sunsets. Nicolas’ place is gorgeous and comfortable. As an added bonus you have Romain there on the property if you need anything at all. Even though he is there you do not see him unless you need him. He will also do all your meals if you wish and he is an EXCELLENT CHEF!!!! By far THE BEST PLACE TO STAY ON MOOREA!!!!!
