About this property

Come to your private retreat from your hectic life

My friend and I are in the heart of Oakland Park Florida. Our location is within a mile to Wilton Manors and we are within minutes from the beach from our location. We have a Tropical setting with a private garden with a security gate with plenty of parking. We are 11 miles from the Fort Lauderdale International airport. There are many unique dining location near by and the Funky Buddha brewery is within walking distance from our location. Owner resides on the property.
The space
You have a spacious studio apartment which is more than comfortable to help you relax on your vacation in lush setting
Other things to note
Sorry at this time our listing is not accepting any pets or service animals thanks. And we have a new quiet AC split which is very comfortable and different from the Wallbanger from before.

Property host is extremely friendly and welcoming. Accomodations and everything about it were immaculate and spotless! Bed was extremely comfortable and surrounding garden was amazing and inspired peacefulness. I can't recommend how comfortable, convenient and overall welcome we felt during our stay. Safe, secure and great onsite parking. Will definitely stay again on our next visit to Fort Lauderdale.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the host puts a lot of heart into maintaining the home. Everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need.The host was truly exceptional—incredibly responsive, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We didn't expect this place to be bad at all, but it was even nicer than we were expecting. Everything was super clean and new feeling. The outdoor property was very well taken take of. The studio had everything we needed (mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, sink, TV, reliable internet). The mini-split AC unit was great and quiet. We would definitely come back if it works out with future plans.The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. The neighborhood was quiet.Side note: The swimmable snorkeling off the beach at Lauderdale-by-the-Sea was better than I was expecting (especially under the pier, until the reopen it), so bring gear if you have it. Snorkel between the pier and Datura.

Relaxing!

First time in South Florida for a wedding. Very private, great location, and very affordable compared to more area hotels. The next time I visit, I will be sure to stay here again.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The home was clean and comfy. The outside was exceptionally appealing, as my boyfriend and I both love plant life. It was like having a private botanical garden right outside. We wouldHope to stay again next year, if it is available.
