The studio apartment is located walking distance to Wilton Manors in a friendly and safe suburban neighborhood. It consistently receives 5 star reviews for being so quiet, clean. It has been recently renovated and offers a private bath, and everything you need for a healthy, safe and rejuvenating short term stay. As you enter the gated backyard you're immediately immersed in privacy surrounded by tropical landscaping featuring orchids, banana, and coconut trees. Your apartment is just down the landscaped sidewalk. Keep walking and you come upon the pool and a slice of utopia. Looking to escape the screaming kids at the noisy and crowded hotel pool deck? There is only one apartment on the property, so you'll never have to share with other guests. (Note: the backyard and pool are shared with the main house where I live along with my 2 dogs, but when guests are enjoying the pool, I respect the need for privacy and make every effort to avoid those areas until the coast is clear). While I'm usually avail if you have questions or needs, I do my best to stay invisible and out of your way. In fact, it's not uncommon for guests to only see me at check in. The apt is bright and open with a queen size bed with a firm mattress topped with 3 inches of memory foam, crisp bed linens, new Fire smart LCD TV with HDMI access and ultra high speed fiber optic wifi and ethernet access. Guests enjoy a Kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel backsplash, full size fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and a two burner glass cooktop. All glasses, plates, and cookware are provided. You can conduct business on the glass desk with office chair.
The unit has a new, ultra quiet ductless mini split A/C. All soaps, shampoo, toilet tissue, dish soap/sponges are provided for your convenience. We also provide free coffee, and tea along with an assortment of sugars and coffee creamers, Guests have full access to a solar heated salt water pool. (Please note: we make no guarantees for pool temperature as it is directly linked with local weather conditions). Also available is a stainless steel gas grill, outdoor table and umbrella/chairs, plus 2 chaise lounge chairs for sun worshipers. Guests always have access to additional clean towels and fresh bed linens. Need to do personal laundry? We offer our Samsung front loading washer and dryer. Detergent and dryer sheets are included for $5 per wash/dry cycle. We are located an easy 10 minute walk to Wilton Manors, and approximately 2.5 miles from Fort Lauderdale Beach, the Galleria Mall and the Las Olas shopping district. Don't hesitate to make special requests. Special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries are very important. For a small fee, decorations (flowers/balloons, specialty cakes, etc.) can be waiting in the apartment for your arrival. (Yes... even our Republican friends are welcome! ;-) In fact, we celebrate diversity. All are respected. All are treated with kindness and dignity. Please note: This is a safe neighborhood, and while there are no security cameras inside the apartment, the outside areas are monitored for additional security. There is no smoking tobacco inside the apartment, but we realize the benefits of certain medicinal herbs, which can be enjoyed in the unit when a window is cracked open. Parking in the driveway is free and plentiful.
