NEW CONSTRUCTION IN 2021 this 2-story property has a 2-car tandem garage, 3 BR, deck, patio w/ fire table, paddle board, kayak, surfboard, boogie boards and bikes.

Walking distance to restaurants, family fun at Belmont Park and boat rentals. Watch the boats pass by on Mission Bay from the 2nd-floor deck, then walk 300 feet to the Pacific Ocean.

We always keep the property in excellent condition for guests but we also stock the house according to the comforts of home that is reflective of our family's use of the property many weeks a year. The property is full of kitchen supplies, spices and condiments, charging cords, games, bikes, Nespresso coffee pods, a coffee cream foam machine, a soda machine, laundry detergent, board games and more. Some short-term rentals are completely bare - not even salt and pepper in the house. That's not what our place is like. Our place is your home away from home.

Great summer getaway

We came out to escape the heat in Phoenix and had the best time. The property is perfectly located between the beach and the bay, which was great for the kids. We enjoyed the amenities of the house, and the owners were easy to get ahold of with any questions. We explored balboa park and Legoland as well on our stay. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Great family stay

We had a great 1 week stay at the Bayview townhome! The house was exactly as described and had everything we needed to cook, stay and even got out on the water with the paddle board and kayaks. While parking was tight it's not that bad - we easily fit our Kia Telluride and appreciated having the extra large garage space for storage. Would recommend and stay here again!

Perfect spot in Mission Beach

Such a cute place and awesome location. Loved having access to the bikes and a great view of the bay. Parking in the garage was scary, but finding parking down there is even scarier. Would definitely stay again if ever in San Diego.

Fabulous stay in Mission Beach!

We had a wonderful time at this home. It’s just as described and in a fantastic location. Had everything we could ever need or want. Loved being able to enjoy both the bay and the beach. And walking distance to lots of great restaurants. Will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in San Diego!

Property was exactly has expected and met all expectations. Location to Ocean and Bay was great with walking distance to activities Belmont Park, beaches, parks, and paths was a great plus.

Beautiful location!

My friends and I had a really comfortable stay at this beautiful house! There is a ton to do within walking distance. We got great instructions before arriving. Definitely recommend renting a smaller vehicle which will make getting in/out of the garage easier (we were warned!). Kitchen was well-stocked and place was very clean!

Great family property

We loved staying here! It is so close to the bay, which is great because they had tons of toys to use. My daughter loved the paddleboard and we all took turns on the kayak. The chairs were also super nicw to have. The upstairs patio was amazing to hang out on as well. Super clean and no problems.

Fantastic Home

This property was perfect for our family. It was a very short distance to both the bay and ocean and easy walk to restaurants. We loved all the toys, kayak, paddle board etc! The house was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Wes and Cassandra sent out a lot of great information and were very responsive and accommodating! 5+ stars!

Beautiful home and fantastic location

Just returned from a fantastic stay at this beautiful home. We had 2 couples with 3 kids ages 4-8, and this was the perfect spot. Super close to the beach and bay, and there was a park with a great playground nearby. The kids loved the bunk bed, and there was plenty of bed space with the full size bunks and trundle. We found everything we needed at the house - games, smart tv, plenty of beach toys, and even a wagon to haul things to the beach. Will definitely stay here next time we are in SD!

A little piece of paradise

Property is in great condition, fully equipped not only to enjoy your stay in the house but also to do out door activities. Location is excellent. Hostess were great we had no problems at all. Parking is a problem but I guess is all about the location!!

Quick Weekend

Our second stay at the property and would definitely go back again. Great location, beautiful condo with plenty of ammenities. Chairs, towels and games for the beach. Outdoor space, washer and dryer, couldn't ask for much more. Thanks for the hospitality. Garage is tight for parking, but the host make you aware of that before hand

Great property

Very much enjoyed our stay. The property is very nice and well maintained. Great location and having all the toys included was great. Would definitely recommend. FYI, the garage is tiny (I have a truck and didn't attempt to try to fit), but was able to find street parking fine (although it was a rainy weekend in the offseason). Also, didn't seem like all the split AC/Heaters were working.

This is a good place. Great location. Cute. Nice amenities as far as having shampoo, body wash, baggies, foil, a lot of stuff you don’t want to buy a whole container of for a vacation. Host communication is great. It was fairly quiet the first couple of nights as long as the windows were closed. The last night I could hear people walking upstairs at all hours (like 4am). I don’t know if they hadn’t been there the other nights or what. Also you can hear the airplanes but I didn’t feel like it was a loud or disturbing sound. Things to know - the queen bunk bed on the bottom you could really only put one person and preferably a child or teen because there’s not a lot of space between that bed and the bunk above. Even a child could not sit up. The primary bedroom bed is very high so if you have mobility limitations, not for you. Both bathrooms have 2 light switches. Be sure to use the one without the timer when you are showering because it’s dark in there when the light goes off if the other one isn’t on. As for the garage, my husband managed to park a minivan in there. It was a tight fit and took a many point turn to get lined up, but we made it work.

Mission Bay Beach Stay

My wife, 3 kids and I took off for Labor Day Weekend and her Birthday and had a great time. They have so many different beach toys. Kitchen was well stocked. We rented a minivan and managed to park it in their tight garage space. Great grill and of course great outdoor activities just steps from the front door. It was nice that it had AC because it was hot that weekend. We heard some places don’t have any AC which I couldn’t even have imagined. The water pressure in the master wasn’t great, but it got the job done. The beds and pillows were great and we slept fantastic.

This is our beach home for our family with three boys (elementary school + middle school + high school ages), so it comes with all of the comfort and amenities we love for our own family! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

There are so many things we love about this property.

- The new construction modern & clean feel - such as little things like having USB ports in the electrical outlets and each room with its own air conditioning settings.

- The location! We thought the best part about this property would be the close location to the beach, but it turns out that we spend so much time at Mission Bay! All the kids love it and we meet so many other families every time we are there. The water is very calm and safe for kids of all ages.

- The outdoorsy-ness. Every day is a walk on the boardwalk, a paddle board ride, a walk with the kids to the nearby playground or something to get out of the house.

- The restaurants and vibrance nearby. Belmont Park's roller coaster, mini golf and kids games. Dinner at Cannonball for delicious sushi (and much more) or pizza at Luiggi's or breakfast burritos at any of the places in walking distance.

What makes this property unique

This is the only property in all of Bayside Cove with a covered deck that has this broad of a water view, because this is the property right in the corner next to Mission Bay.
