We had an amazing stay—the home is beautiful and in a perfect location. The only area for improvement would be the management company, but overall, this is a wonderful place that we would still recommend.

HI Billie I am glad you had an amazing stay! I disappointed to see you thought we could have done better as a management company. We did check in with you two times during your stay. You never mentioned anything wrong or anything you needed. Your input is invaluable, and we’re committed to making improvements based on your insights. Please know, we continuously strive to enhance our guests’ experiences—from start to finish.
We loved staying at Joy Cottage. Great location with ferry to Bar Harbor. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again!
Joy Cottage is wonderfully charming and the absolute cleanest VRBO we’ve stayed in. We loved its location away from the crowds of Bar Harbor and its proximity to sleepy Winter Harbor and the Schoodic Path.
This is a beautiful home in a wonderful location. The house was comfortable and stocked everything we could possibly need.We look forward to staying here again when we visit Prospect Harbor!

thank you for the nice review, Hope. I am so happy to hear you enjoyed Prospect Harbor.
Can't say enough about the property. It was the perfect mix of modern renovation and authentic vintage farmhouse. And Prospect Harbor, Winter Harbor, and Acadia National Park were a delight. We definitely look forward to returning for another visit here.
The quintessential New England farmhouse! This property was perfect for us and our two golden retrievers. The fenced in yard was perfect for our girls. Great location close to the Schoonic Peninsula and just one hour to Bar Harbor. This was a perfect getaway for our family.
We loved staying at this cozy seaside home for the week. We were able to recharge and unplug in this quiet neighborhood with scenic views. Close proximity to Acadia National park.
We enjoyed an amazing stay here! The location is absolutely stunning and is located in a very quiet neighborhood. The house was very comfortable with a great fenced in yard and firepit in the backyard, and was equipped with everything else you would need to enjoy a Maine getaway!

Outstanding property with upgraded appliances, fenced yard for our pup and the most peaceful front patio overlooking Prospect Harbor. My entire family thoroughly enjoyed our trip and it will go down in the books as one of our favorites. 10/10!

I love that Joy Cottage is going to stand out in your family memories! Thanks for the nice review and thanks for staying with us!
Adorable home in Prospect Harbor. The boys had as much fun playing hide and seek in the yard as they did exploring Acadia.

I got a chuckle on this review -- isn't it the way with kids? They enjoy playing with the box more than the present inside! At any rate, I am glad you all enjoyed the house!
Great location and we had a very pleasant stay
Found some great restaurants nearby
Property well appointed but shower in downstairs bathroom was a bit challenging

Thank you for the nice review, Martin! Glad you got out and about in the Prospect Harbor area. I think it is lovely. Most people just head to Bar Harbor and Acadia, but there are so many villages and nooks and crannies to explore on this peninsula. Off the beaten track....
We loved the property and wish we could have spent more time there. Great access to Acadia National Park, especially the Schoodic Peninsula with awesome sunsets.
