This newly constructed home made it's grand debut August 2021. We are pleased to invite you to this stunning property. The home is located next to a beach park and has gorgeous ocean views. The neighborhood is quiet and extremely family friendly. Everything you will need from grocery shopping, outlet shopping, hiking and beaches are all within a 10 minute drive.

Gorgeous Home Away from Home

Beautiful house in a quiet residential neighborhood, new construction, plenty of space for even the largest of families! Overlooks a nice beach park and is conveniently located. Taylor is also very responsive and accommodating if you have any questions!

Best stay ever!

Awesome view. Great layout for large parties. Furnishings very comfortable especially the beds. Nice luxury touches like luggage elevator, bidets and ac in every room. Taylor was very quick to respond to the millions of questions we asked.

An unforgettable, amazing Island experience!

This home is a “Must book” vacation home! All the room and comfort for a family of 8 plus 2 kids. Sunrise & sunsets every day. Beach landscape and access literally steps away. You will not be disappointed with this beautiful, new home as your home base in Oahu.

Family Getaway in Hawaii Kai

We just finished an amazing 7 night stay at Makai Manor! It was absolutely perfect for our group of 13, ranging in ages from age 67 to age 7. The property manager Taylor was awesome: she was super attentive and truly helped us with everything we needed. The house was amazing: the views were amazing and the location can't be beat! Great proximity to Waikiki without being in the hustle and bustle of the city. We didn't want to leave! I highly recommend Taylor and Makai Manor for your stay in Honolulu! Aloha!

Beyond expectations

This place was incredible! There were 15 adults and 2 toddlers in our group and we all loved our stay. There was plenty of room for us to spend time together, and apart when we needed our own space. The house was so clean. The view from the balconies to the ocean were gorgeous. Loved the location. You can walk right down to the ocean, and it is a perfect ocean for kids to play in because it remains shallow and calm for what seems like half a mile out! Taylor was fantastic. Always responsive to questions both before and during our stay. We would 100% go back here!

Family Vacation

We are a family of 17. The house was very comfortable with beautiful views of the ocean. There was plenty of room for everyone. The patios were a plus. The only drawback was the house isn’t handicapped accessible/equipped. For example stairs entry only and no bathrooms are handicapped equipped. This makes it difficult for the elderly and amputees. But the house met all our expectations and needs. Taylor was a great host and we had a wonderful time.

I love this place!

So worth it! This was the perfect place and size for me and my family. So very clean and spacious. Had everything we needed from pots n pans to toiletries, washer/ dryer. it’s like home away from home. I don’t know her personally but our host Taylor .. I love her! She was just a text away if I needed anything, concerns/questions. This will definitely be thee place when we go back to Hawaii.

Outstanding experience

The property is excellent as 18 of us maximized the unit for five days in September 2022. The location, cleanliness, and coordination with Taylor was excellent. Taylor, as a host answered all questions promptly beginning six months ago and ensured our stay was perfect. She was key in accommodating logistical needs of babies and toddlers. We were able to maneuver six rental sedans and SUVs with negligible problems. The trick is to drive slowly and follow their recommendation. Thanks Taylor for a great experience as your dedication and competency made this a memorable stay for our family.

family vacation

this property was perfect for our size of family(11). the number of bedrooms and bathrooms worked out great. the large main kitchen/dining area was large enough to accommodate our entire group for eating our meals. the only negative comment would be the chairs in the dining area. they are cheaply made. the backs on a couple of them are already cracked, you could not lean back on them. I would advise to put some better quality chairs in that area as the rest of the house is really nice.

Overall we had a great stay!

This large 10 bedroom house was perfect for our extended family Oahu trip! Big pluses include: direct beach access/view, large open living room/kitchen area, enough parking for ~5 cars, hot tub, beach toys/surfboards, baby crib, elevator, AC in every room, and toilet bidets in all bathrooms. Also for runners it’s nearby to koko head for a beautiful and steep early morning jog. The only negatives were the hot tub was unfortunately dirty when we arrived and there was an electrical problem with some outlets but the host was quick to get both fixed. Sound travels through walls/floors pretty easily, so plan for light sleepers to bring ear plugs if there are loud babies on the trip. Knives were quite dull (a common problem with just about any rental) so you might want to bring your own sharpening stone. Other than that those issues we definitely recommend it to others and would stay there again!

Great place for large group of all ages

We loved our stay at this perfect place for our family group of 14 of all ages. The Makai Manor is practically on a beach with grass, picnic tables, volleyball, and basketball court, frequented by the locals. The Manor itself is clean, modern, comfortable, spacious, and includes everything needed for a fun stay, including toys for the little ones. The hot tub was a fun extra. The property manager was very responsive. You can’t go wrong with a stay at the Manor.

Family Vacation 2022!

My Friends & Family (10 total) had a great experience renting this property & the house was very clean & spacious. Our only suggestion is that the property description needs to disclose the narrow driveway. We rented a 12 person van that required one of us directing the driver onto the driveway upon entry & exit due to cars parked on the street.

Beautiful new rental with amazing views

This rental was perfect for our large family vacation. The house was spacious and clean and had an amazing view. The best was watching the sunset from the third floor balcony. The house was conveniently located close to Costco, grocery stores, and restaurants which made it easy for us since we travelled with young kids. The kids loved taking short walks to the beach park that was right in the backyard. The house was located less then 10 miles from Waikiki. We would definitely stay again the next time we visit. Taylor was also very responsive to our emails and questions. She was easy to communicate with and did her best to help us with our accommodation requests.
