Tesla Charger! Beautiful secluded house next to a cliff with mossy rocks and a creek. 2400 square foot house with a 100 year old barn! Great for a short or long get away.! The owners live next door and can make great recommendations for place to eat or activities in Leipers Fork!

Note, we have security cameras located at the gate, at the front doorbell and to ensure protection when the property is unattended. "This house features water leak sensors and an automatic water shut-off valve. We wanted to inform you about the white, tear-drop shaped devices located throughout the house."

We loved this house!

The house was well laid out and comfortable. With two king suites, we had plenty of room. The kitchen was large and had everything we needed. I must confess, I spent a lot of time playing pool! We enjoyed our stay and had no trouble finding our way around.

Cheer Competition

We come to the area twice yearly for a cheer competition. This time we decided to stay here instead of a hotel. The only complaint I have is that we were soooo busy I did not have time to actually enjoy the property and venture out with the kids. We definitely will be booking again.

Country Vibes

Stayed for a week between Christmas and New Year’s Day. While the trees had lost their leaves many weeks ago, the beauty of the area and the property was still amazing. Josh was extremely responsive whenever we messaged. Although, we didn’t have to message much because everything was perfect! We had zero issues during the stay and will certainly consider staying here again in the future.

Loaded country retreat

The property and owners are absolutely fantastic! We had a bottle of wine and a dozen farm fresh eggs waiting for us on check in. When we forgot our pack n play, the owners ventured out in a terrible storm and bought a pack n play AND bedding for us! The home had everything we needed and more. Sitting on the front porch to have coffee while listening to the babbling brook by the house was a special treat. There is one bedroom on the main floor, but to enter the house there are 5-6 steps in through the front porch or garage. This was not a major problem, but one of our group was 80+ years old so we did notice. The pool room is located in a great area of the house where you can be loud and have fun without disturbing anyone else. Door dash was delivered here with no problem. I will stay here again in the future!

Nice but too remote

We were traveling to help our son and family relocate to Franklin. Ended up not being convenient for us. The property was very nice, updated and clean. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms nicely remodeled. I would say the kitchen glassware, dishes are plentiful, but need a refresh and kitchen utensils scattered around/unorganized. We were forced into cooking I felt since not very close to restaurants or long wait times with small children. Could use kid friendly dishes, (plastic) and bakeware was definitely lacking. Ended up with frozen pizzas and no pizza pans. Also, child’s outdoor play set was covered in some kind of wood fungus. Overall I gave it four stars just not convenient enough to area towns.

Unique property

This property makes you feel like you are further away from civilization than you really are. My advice would be to arrive during daylight as some of the roads are narrow, curvy and dark. The house itself appears to be an old farmhouse that has been enlarged. The upstairs bedrooms are good sized and nicely furnished. The upstairs bathroom is located inside of one bedroom which was a little “awkward” for the one couple to have to go through a bed room to use the bathroom. Downstairs is nicely sized. The master bedroom is large and contains the other full bathroom. Living room is adequately sized with a gas fireplace. Word of caution, as an older person, those sofas are LOW, lol. There is a back room which contains a trundle bed and an upholstered chair plus a table and chairs. A small wooden outdoor area separated the two “rear rooms”. We weren’t impressed as it faced a hill. The other room contained the pool table which was a big hit.

You will want to return

This home was everything we hoped it would be. We’ve never spent Christmas away from home, but we traveled to be near our daughter and her family which included their 6 week old daughter…staying home and staying safe due to COVID. The property is gorgeous with rock outcroppings above a small creek, nicely kept grounds and the sounds of nature all around. The home is completely redone with attention to detail and simply beautiful. It is comfortable, spacious, and sparkling clean. There are pretty views to the outdoors. The pool table in the sunroom addition was so much fun! A great way to spend fun time together doing something we never do. What a great idea! We look forward to returning to this spot in the future. Book it; you will be delighted!

Relaxing time in the country

The original home has been added onto and completely updated and was a good fit for our family. It was quiet and relaxing on this secluded property that made you feel like you were further out in the country than you really were.
