Sunny, well-equipped holiday flat with terrace in Kosel on the Schwansen peninsula. In our apartment there is enough space for 2 people to spend a relaxing holiday or short break. The quietly situated holiday flat is 500 m from the village centre and has no through traffic (no secluded location). The towns of Eckernförde, Kiel, Kappeln, Schleswig or the "smallest town" in Germany: Arnis are within easy reach! Swimming opportunities in the nearby Bültsee, Schlei or in the Baltic Sea with its numerous beaches and cliffs along the Schwansen peninsula. If the weather is not suitable for excursions, then head to Eckernförde (7 km), where there is a seawater wave pool with sauna and slide. In Damp, a discovery pool awaits you, discover the family and adventure world in Damp. Location description: Kosel municipality on the Schlei and close to the Eckernförde Bay, Schleswig Holstein, Rendsburg Eckernförde district, Schwansen peninsula. The municipality of Kosel is home to approx. 1400 inhabitants, who live in the individual villages of Bohnert, Kosel, Missunde and Weseby. The municipality has been a popular settlement site since the Neolithic Age and the Vikings also found this landscape very attractive - 2 Viking settlements have been excavated in Kosel! The landmark of Kosel stands on a small hill, the St Laurenzius church, the round or fortified tower probably dates back to the 12th century. The country inn "Koseler Hof" offers food and drink. A riding centre in Kosel offers riding lessons and rides for horse-loving children, young people and adults. Kosel has been twinned with the French town of La Meziere in Bretange for over 35 years. The village green is located in the centre of the village, where children can practise their skills on a range of play equipment or chase after a ball on the football pitch, watched by their families on the seats provided. The bathing area at Koseler Bültsee is close to the holiday apartment and can be reached quickly. The water temperature in the Bültsee is much higher than in the Baltic Sea! Hike along the Schlei or the cliffs of the Baltic Sea. Above the cliffs near Waabs, on the Schwansen peninsula, you can enjoy marvellous views of the Baltic Sea and Eckernförde Bay. Arnis: The town of Arnis is located on a peninsula in the Schlei and is the smallest town on the smallest area in Germany Damp: Newly built adventure pool on the Baltic Sea, in bad weather in the indoor fun park or in the children's paradise. Guided tours are offered in the 3 towns of Schleswig, Kappeln and Eckernförde! Schleswig St Peter's Cathedral: Schleswig Cathedral is the episcopal church for the Schleswig and Holstein district of the Northern Church and the main church in the region. Schlei: A boat trip on the Schlei with the coat of arms of Schleswig Gottorf Castle with baroque garden: Home of the State Museums of Archaeology and Art and Cultural History. Winkinger Museum Haitabu: Viking museum on the outskirts of Schleswig. In addition to the museum, there are several Viking houses on historical ground at Selker Noor/Schlei, where visitors can learn a lot about Viking life. Tolk: Tolkschau, "A park for the whole family". Take the ferry across the Schlei at Missunde, after 12 kilometres you will reach Tolk!
