Welcome to our 800 sqft modern guest studio atop Queen Anne Hill! The studio is located in the basement of an adorable bungalow that still has its original facade from when it was built in 1915.
For a basement, the studio is spacious-- having room for living, dining, working, and sleeping! The Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired built-in furniture will make this one of the most unique basements you have ever seen. We have all the essentials for a fun weekend trip or a month stay. This studio is in the perfect location to launch your next Seattle adventure
There is a washing machine and dryer available in the unit. The backyard furniture is also available to guests.
My roommate and I will be living in the house upstairs and can answer any questions about things to do in the neighborhood, city, or recommend hikes nearby. You may see us in the backyard, but otherwise you will not have to interact with us if you don't want to!
Note that for stays over 1 week long, we will have to work out a schedule for using the laundry room in the basement as it is the only one on the property.
PLEASE READ:
1. This space is equipped with a wet bathroom. The small bathroom has a low doorway, so please be careful stepping inside. If you are uncomfortable with a shower directly next to the toilet, please take a look at the photos and reviews.
2. The basement stays cool during the summer. There is no AC, but there is a whole house fan I keep on, and a portable fan is provided.
3. We do not allow pets of any kind to ensure an allergy-free experience for all of our guests. No exceptions for hypoallergenic pets.

Great stay. Very close to all the things we needed to access, but located in a beautiful neighborhood that felt very safe. For some strange reason (tech glitch) my VRBO app was not showing check in information that I had received days prior. I sent a message to the host and they promptly adjusted to make sure that we got into the space. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
The unit was very clean and the host was very gracious. The stairs to the unit were a problem. Older people would not want to rent this unit. Carrying suitcases were difficult for us. Also the bathroom was not great. It is too small and the shower, toilet situation is not the best.We enjoyed all the mirrors availble since the bathroom was fo small.
Great location! Very clean! Everything that we needed! Close to public transportation, grocery store, bakery, bar! We will definitely choose this location again!
This was the perfect stay. Very clean. Busses and a small market were just a few blocks away. Adorable community. Very safe for a single woman traveling alone.

The Queen Anne Burrow was an absolutely wonderful and cosy spot for our honeymoon trip to Seattle. Queen Anne is a great neighbourhood to stay in, and Bailee was a very helpful and considerate host. Thank you for a lovely stay!
This rental was just what we needed and the neighborhood was so cute! We loved walking around and renting the scooters to go all around the city and be able to come back to the cute and quiet area. The hosts were also great to work with and extremely accommodating!
This was the perfect spot close to the bustle of the city but far enough away to provide some quiet and comfort! The unit was clean and comfortable and the accommodations all you could need. Instructions were clear and helpful. Would stay again!
The unit is really lovely and well designed. Bailee was very communicative and made the check in and check out process clear and straightforward. I really enjoyed my stay!
This darling place is exactly as shown. The bed is super comfy and things like the big monitor in the office area make working from the location really convenient. Parking was a breeze. The host has great communication and is very pleasant. I would definitely stay again if I need to be in the area.
Efficient Unit with all as advertised in GREAT location
There were no surprises with this unit. It was as advertised and fit our needs perfectly. The location is perfect for those who enjoy visiting a city and taking advantage of all that cities can offer, especially if walking is a significant part of your lifestyle.
Lovely little spot, snuggled away in the basement of a house. You walk through the fence gate into the backyard and down some stairs to the apartment door. It looks just like the photos. Owner is responsive and kind. I’d love to book it again. I felt very comfortable and safe as a single woman.

This is a unique and cool place to stay for sure, and the host Bailee was good about communication. If you book it on Expedia, it was confusing about checking in and I had to reach out to the host to get the information. The space is great for 2 people and the bed is very comfortable, but if you don't like that the toilet and shower are in one combined space, it may not be the best place for you to stay.

Hi there! I'm Bailee and I'm software developer in Seattle. When I'm not working I love getting outside and exploring new places, going for runs, writing, playing/listening to music and walking to get a coffee in town. I grew up in Orange County, California, and spent some time in Boston, but Seattle is my favorite!
