Located at the end of the hamlet of Saint Antoine on the edge of the road (which leads to Ailefroide and Madame Carle's meadow), the latter is very easily accessible even in heavy snowfall provided you are fitted with snow tyres or equivalent.
The Gyr flows about thirty metres from the property and mountain races and walks are possible in the surrounding area for the most motivated.
The ski resort of Pelvoux is accessible in 2 minutes by car and that of Puy Saint Vincent in 20 minutes.
Cross-country ski trails are easily accessible, a via ferrata (summer only) is a 5-minute drive from the chalet, boulders and walls to climb are in Ailefroide (10 minutes from the chalet)
You can admire the Pelvoux (3956m) by opening the shutters of the living room and let yourself be lulled by the sweet melody of the flowing Gyr.
A small shop also sells bread and is 8 minutes walk from the chalet or 2 minutes by car.
Otherwise, the village of Vallouise is 8 minutes away by car and you can find all the necessary shops.
Two restaurants are 5 minutes from the chalet in the direction of Vallouise.
The duplex will only be rented by the week or more during school holidays and outside school holidays.
The chalet is non-smoking but it is possible to smoke on the balcony (15m2) or in the garden.
Arrival time is free from 16:00 on Saturday and departure will be at 10:00 on the following Saturday.
