Me and my husband took our 2 and 1 yr old to get away, turn off phones, and disconnected from the world. Exzacly what we wanted and needed. Was perfect!
Wife and I need a break from everything and this place was perfect. The house was beautiful and the surroundings was perfect for relaxing. Very peaceful and definitely will be coming back.Nick was a wonderful host and when ever I need anything he was just a call away.
We feel so thankful for this week at Nicks paradise! It was a time of peace and regrouping as a family to go back to FUN and simple! The pond was a little bit of heaven to our two grandsons! The hot tub was a great place to end the day! Thank you!!
This place was everything it was supposed to be and then some.. we plan to come back in warmer weather so we can enjoy the water . It's a beautiful place.. way out in the woods.. private.. which we loved!! The owner Nick is very nice guy!! We also enjoyed the hot tub while we was there...
We all had a blast on our vacation. This place has everyrhing you need and then some. Nicholas was very nice and welcoming. The kids loved all the animals. We will definitely be back.
The property is beautiful and very secluded. It was a little hard to get to the location driving down a long dirt road, but it's worth it! We did have a little issue with figuring out how to get into the cabin, but that was easily fixed with a call from the owner. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we ever go back to that area of Arkansas.
Our family had a wonderful stay. We had the property to ourselves with the ducks and the cat, Miss Meowgie. Nick was very helpful and only a text away to answer any questions. We would highly recommend bringing an ATV to explore the area and ride the country roads up to the Spring River. One rainy day, we loved meeting the folks at the Hardy Sweet Shop to get treats and had a great lunch at The Corner Booth.
We needed a quick getaway for Labor Day weekend. Bertucci's Country Cabins offered everything we were looking for. We were able to bring our dogs which was a bonus. My teenage daughters had a blasting the private pond equipped with kayaks. We spent a lot of time just front porch sitting, reading and watching movies on Netflix. We grilled hotdogs and hamburgers. The sight of wildlife was a nice bonus as well, to include a lot.of deer and ducks. The cabin was cozy and clean. We enjoyed every minute and will definitely be back!
Loved my time at this lovely cabin. It's very peaceful and I felt very safe. Note that the bedroom stays very cold even with the heat on so you may have to layer up if you stay in the winter months :) Loved having access to a hot tub, unfortunately it didn't stay hot for too long so I didn't use it as much as I wanted. Not a fan of cameras overlooking hot tubs but I get it for security purposes :) The ducks by the pond were so cute to watch, there were so many trails to explore and a couple challenging ones. My dog loved being able to roam with me. There is about a 15min drive down a long bumpy dirt road so keep in mind that a trip to the store will take at least 20 minutes :) I loved my time here and would absolutely return! Nick was great with his communication and was very helpful. Thanks again!!
A must see for those in need of a mental break into nature
You have to imagine a 36 mile drive deep into a secluded forest and a clearing at the top of a ridge habitable to humans. There you will find a large pond with a beach, water foul to kayak with, a hot tub on the porch, and massive fire pit with plenty of wood to forage close by (or purchase bundled). Nicholas has built this oasis as a way to give back to the people in need of reconnecting with each other in a safe place surrounded by beauty. You will want at least three days to explore the 300 acres filled with wild game, long streams, lake, and beautiful clearings to rest in. Definatly worth spending time in this environment. Thanks Nick
At first we had a hard time finding the place and thought we were lost. A local man stopped us on the dirt road to help us find it. Communication with the host was A+ helping us find the place as well. This is definitely our error, not the host. Do not rely on the GPS pin where it says the place is. This does speak to how secluded this is and I say that as a huge plus. We loved how secluded and away from it all it was. We loved our stay so much! There was another couple staying in the other cabin and we spoke with them a few times. The cleanliness of the cabin is A+ and the host is amazing! If you are looking for a getaway from reality…this is it! Our dog and 18 month old loved running around the property. We went on daily walks up and down the driveway and the gravel road and always felt safe. Comfy bed and nice decor! I miss it already!
What a BEAUTIFUL property! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and it was the perfect escape from city life. Felt like this place had everything. The ducks we're an unexpected, yet delightful bonus! I definitely suggest Bertucci's to anyone who needs a social detox, because this was one of the most relaxing, calm, beautiful places I've ever been to.
This place is an amazing little get away! It has everything you could need and is super cozy. Would definitely recommend.
Pros:
Nick was super nice! I didn't receive the automated check-in information in an email so he explained every to me over the phone that I would need to know. Lots of space, full kitchen and bath, front and back patios, washer/dryer, 2 TVs, PlayStation, hot tub, little lake area, shooting range, catch and release fishing, walking trails, etc.
Cons:
Hair in shower drain, stains on mattress cover, around 8 active wasp nests on the porch areas made it hard to enjoy the hot tub and relax outside, cat on property.
Pictures do not do the home justice. It is a very quiet place. Your own firepit. I cute beach (with toys for the kids). Private hot tub and hammocks. Nick (owner) was awesome. Superb host and ready for any problems (of which there were none). If you want a quiet getaway, this is the place!
Location is pretty far out but it is so nice and quiet! It has a nice pond with ducks and kayaks. We spent most of our trip sleeping and hanging out in hot tub!
We had a wonderful stay and hated to leave. The weather was a little crazy with the heavy snow and the power went out but Nick made sure we had everything we needed and took great care of us. We can't wait to come back
We very much enjoyed our stay and plan on staying again in the future with the whole family. I couldn’t have asked for a better host. I would highly recommend this spot to someone else.
