This bungalow was the perfect home away from home. Every amenity you’d want in a house, and the gas grill was the perfect surprise as we were able to grill a home cooked meal for our college daughter. The hosts were amazing. We will definitely return.
We were visiting family for Christmas, and this house was perfect. The details like candles, blankets, and holiday decorations were excellent, and the fireplace made things extra cozy. Everything was walking distance, including a good bar, great restaurant, and an amazing coffee shop. Brenda was so nice and always quick to respond if we needed anything. We can't wait to stay here again!

Thank you, David! It was a pleasure to host you. Thank you for being such awesome guests! We welcome you back anytime!
My husband and I and our small dog enjoyed this property. It has a unique decor and is in a neat historic building. Well outfitted with all modern conveniences in working order. Very comfortable bed. One block from restaurants downtown. Very quiet. Would stay here again.
Staying in Fayette in this house was great. Lots of space to spread out and get comfortable. We had a rainy day so we spent time hanging out watching tv and using the kitchen. The back yard was perfect for our dog. Wish the weather would have be better so we could have spent time in the yard, it looks so nice,

It was a pleasure to host you and your husband. Thank you for being great guests! We welcome you back anytime!
I was looking for a last-minute getaway within a 2-hour drive of Kansas City and stumbled upon this gem. I had never heard of Fayette, Mo., before, but it was the pictures of the property that attracted me. The only thing not shown in the pictures were the updated family room furniture--a large, comfy sectional--and the awesome desk/nook for working... complete with a printer!
The backyard was amazing! Fire pit, grill, and comfortable patio furniture. The perfect place for morning coffee or a Bailey's and coffee (left for me by the hostess!) to end the evening.
The town was pretty dead on Sunday when I arrived and it was difficult to find a place to eat that was open, but a quick text to the hostess and she sent me some great ideas.
My dog--who is very picky about where she pees!--was hesitant to "go" in the backyard. The nearest grass is around the town square about a block away. We walked several loops around the courthouse!
As a single, female traveler the town felt very safe for walking... even at night. You can walk everywhere.
The only downside (or maybe upside!) was that Sprint/T-Mobile does not cover Fayette with cell phone service so I could only text people with iPhones by connecting to wifi, but I couldn't send or receive calls.
The hostess was awesome! She knew I was traveling with my dog and gave me some great tips on where I could go with her. We made a day trip to Columbia (where my grandmas used to live and where my dad grew up) and also to the winery and Katy Trail in Rocheport.
I would definitely stay here again!
Perfect place to stay after a long couple of days of driving. Clean, comfortable and convenient for my husband and I during a recent trip to the area to visit friends.
We would definetly stay here again!
Loved this rental, was perfect for bringing our dog along. The fenced courtyard made it super nice to have indoor/outdoor space for the dog to stay safe and not escape.
The town was adorable and the people so kind and friendly. Loved the small town atmosphere.
Manager was very kind and responsive. Location is convenient to downtown restaurants. Loved the unique furniture and comfortable house. Will stay again.
What a great experience in this treasure in Fayette MO.
I have stayed twice now and both times have been wonderful. Brenda was a great host and gets back to you quickly if you have a question. I have found my home away from home while my daughter is going to school at CMU.
Visited with my son to check out CMU. The place was just like it was posted. Walking distance from restaurants and the school. It was nice and cozy. Communication was great. Very quick in responding. Thank you!
