Just a few steps from the Katy Trail, some of Rocheport's fabulous shops & restaurants, and the winery - this full home will make the perfect location for your quick weekend getaway or your longer stay! We love the inviting floor plan with the large original stone fireplace with gas insert, open kitchen & dining to prepare meals, remodeled bathrooms, and the light & bright feel of the home. It backs to Moniteau Creek, allowing for beautiful views every season of the year, and perfect bird watching with your cup of coffee in the morning. About the host
Hosted by Jessica Kempf

Our family moved to the Rocheport area in 2014 after living in neighboring Columbia, MO most of our lives. We are both Realtors in the area and have loved owning rental property for a long time. We live on a farm with our two children, Colten & Callie and raise many animals, honeybees, and a vegetable garden. We spend our free time in Rocheport biking, watching sports, or traveling.
Why they chose this property
We have grown to love this community over the last several years and recently decided to invest back into the community. We recently purchased The Honey House and decided to take a chance and let others experience the joy & delight of spending some time in Rocheport. The timing was right, and we felt like buying this home was meant to be. After purchasing, we found out the home was older than we thought, dating back to the 1840’s, and was previously the town potter’s home. To this day, there are still scrap pieces of pottery in the yard. We love this home, its location, and overall sweet feel. We hope you enjoy it, too.
What makes this property unique
We love the giant original rock fireplace, and the "secret" safe in the basement wall. We love the location which backs to beautiful woods & creek. We love the quaint cozy feel of the upstairs bedrooms and the beautiful hardwood floors throughout the home. This home has history and you can feel it when you walk in.
