We had a great stay! We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and closed in porch to enjoy the sunset without getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. We were traveling with family and were grateful to have the 2.5 baths and were thrilled to be able to bring our dogs with us!The property was conveniently located ten minutes away from part of the IronMan bike route, and while a bit of a drive from Cambridge, was a good place to stay for the event.
The house was very nicely done and extremely well stocked and the host was very friendly and super easy to deal with. We especially like the location for sunrise walks with the dogs and easy access to the national parks.
Stayed for a week while hunting with my buddy. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and cook some meals. Definitely enjoyed the view from the porch.
Great house with water views. Plenty of amenities, beds are comfortable, and we enjoyed morning chats in the screened porch. We will definitely return.
The house was as described very well equipped in the kitchen with things that you needed. Enjoy the outside, screened in patio very much. The house was clean and had a very homey feeling would stay here again when in the area.
This was our 4th stay at Fishing Creek. Kelli's property was by far the most comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked. There was a complimentary bottle of wine on the kitchen table, drinks, coffee, hot chocolate, everything needed to make s'mores. The game room was a hit with the kids, and my husband and I enjoyed our morning coffee in the screened in sunroom. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would love to stay here again the next time we are on Hoopers Island.
Property is located in a small community of very friendly down to earth people. House is beautifully decorated and well maintained with all the amenities you will ever need. It was wonderful to relax with a glass of wine sitting on comfy furniture in a screened on porch. A great restaurant is located 5 minutes away. We recommend the catch of the day and crab cakes.
Our family loved staying in this wonderful property. The 4-bedroom house with 2 full bathrooms downstairs and 1 half bathroom upstairs was very clean and well maintained with all the amenities you will ever need. We loved the charts and prints on the walls, and there was plenty of room for us to spread out. Dual coffee maker for ground and K-cup coffees, and a water kettle for tea. The screened-in porch was a bonus – with a clear view of the water. Kudos to the owners for offering such a gem in a quiet location near Old Salty’s restaurant. We will be back to stay again at this wonderful house.
Our visit was brief... just two nights as we supported an athlete for the Eagleman triathlon June 2025. The house had absolutely everything one might need... very well stocked. Four bedrooms, each with its own mini-split AC was perfect! While we did not use the car EV charger or the backyard 'game shed', both are excellent details. Loved the screened in porch to enjoy the sunset over the water without the mosquitos joining in. **And, thank you for bug spray... when you're that close to the water it's necessary to enjoy the stay. For the Eagleman, it's a 30 min drive back to Cambridge... so you need to account for that additional time, but honestly, it was nice to have the big house to hold us all!
The house has a great screened in porch and a lovely view. It was well stocked with kitchen supplies and very comfortable. The EV charger came in handy for our electric ATV. I would definitely recommend this house for a leisurely stay in beautiful Dorchester County.
Although we brought our own food and other products to use, as described, the house was well extremely well provisioned. The house was also very clean and the rooms were big. We traveled with a person who uses a walker and she could easily maneuver around the house. The neighborhood was quiet and the view exceptional!
It was a very nice stay. House is very clean and well maintained. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The neighbors that we met were very nice and helpful. The house was, thankfully, user friendly for my elderly parents. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing getaway. Kinda takes you back in time. I wish we could have stayed longer.
