Welcome to the Burrow! This charming cottage is clean, well-appointed, and meticulously maintained to ensure that all you have to do is enjoy time with family, friends, and loved ones. Living Spaces
Oh, how you’ll love this living room. It’s light and bright with beautiful hardwood flooring, vaulted ceilings accented with a wood beam, and large glass sliders leading out to the deck. Cozy up on the couch, which doubles as a sleeper sofa, for a family movie night in front of the SmartTV. Or curl up with a book on two colorful accent chairs on either side of the fireplace, the coziest spot on a rainy day.
Kitchen & Dining
The spacious, fully-stocked kitchen is open to the living and dining areas through a large peek-a-boo window that provides a view straight through to the deck. And it’s the perfect spot to serve up snacks, with bar seating for four right on the other side of the opening. The kitchen features beautiful green cabinetry, plenty of counter space, and stainless steel appliances. Just steps away in the open living and dining area is the dining table with seating for six, the perfect place to gather for meals or game nights.
Bedrooms & Baths
After a day at the lake, throw all your gear into the convenient washer/dryer and sink into a comfortable bed in one of three spacious bedrooms, two with queen beds and one with bunk beds perfect for kids. Linens and bath towels are provided, so just bring your favorite beach towels for the lake and you’re all set!

Outdoor Amenities
On a private, wooded lot, you can spend lots of time outside breathing in the peace and quiet at The Burrow. Sip your coffee on the shaded deck before heading down to the lake 0.1 miles away. When you come back, there’s nothing better than a hot outdoor shower. Then fire up the grill and dine al fresco on the deck with a glass of local wine, set up some lawn games in the spacious yard, and end the night relaxing on Adirondack chairs around the fire pit with some gooey s’mores. Everything you need is right here at The Burrow, including the firewood!
The Neighborhood
Conveniently located so you can easily walk to the lake and downtown Glen Arbor while still enjoying the privacy of a quiet, wooded lot, The Burrow is in a prime spot to have it all – quality time at home, all the action downtown, and endless outdoor adventure.
It’s just a 0.1-mile walk down the street to Glen Craft Marina for public access to Big Glen Lake. Bring your kayaks or rent a boat to get out on the water, then easily walk back home for the outdoor shower.
You’re also just a few blocks away from downtown Glen Arbor, where you’ll find shops, restaurants, and galleries. Or you can play tennis, pickleball, and basketball or visit the playground at Glen Arbor Township Park, just half a mile away.
If you’re up for a day of outdoor recreation, bike the Heritage Trail, with access just 100 yards from The Burrow. It’s a 22-mile trail that’s almost completely paved (3 miles are crushed stone), so it’s perfect for walking, running, and biking, and it’s even stroller-friendly and handicap accessible.
Then explore Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, where endless outdoor adventures await. You’ll find scenic hiking trails, streams for kayaking, miles of sandy beaches for swimming and picnicking, a lighthouse, coastal villages, lush forests, inland lakes, and more.
The Burrow is also a short drive to Leland, Empire, Glen Haven, and Suttons Bay for beautiful hikes, beaches, daytime adventures, and wine tasting. There is so much to explore up north, and The Burrow is the perfect place to start.
