Sud, a neighbourhood in Aix-en-Provence, is home to this apartment. Set Golf and Aix-Marseille Golf are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Cours Mirabeau and Les Allees Provencales. Carrousel Paul Cézanne and Hôtel de Caumont - Centre d'Art are also worth visiting.
The apartment was misrepresented when the host answered my questions before I booked it. Aside from my personal experience with that, it’s just not a well thought out or cared for vacation rental. I had to wash dishes before using them and there’s 2 coffee mugs - one is chipped and stained. There’s no hot pot for making tea or coffee. When I mentioned that, the host said use the cooking pot, which is a 2 quart pot that one uses for family pasta, not to pour hot water. I’m in my new holiday rental now somewhere else with maps, plenty of dishes, kitchen towels and some oils, spices and other useful items that make it easy to stay. While “appartement lumineux” has a cute tile design and clever aesthetic, there’s no effort to make guests comfortable - this is what was missing.

Thanks for your comments which will help us to improve.
Regarding spices, oils and other things, we decided to remove them since we had the remark that it’s not really hygienic to keep them open for everyone.
Indeed, there is not coffee or tea maker. Seeing the numerous brands existing and the fact that not everyone is enjoying the same one, we found it easier to just make water boil and use tea/coffee in bags which you can find at the supermarket at the corner of the street (less than 150m).
About dishes, we did not check everything after the last booking. We will be more careful for the next time.
On our side , we would have appreciated that bins have been emptied, the pot emptied, cleaned and stored as well as the ceiling window closed knowing that rain was planned for the weekend.
