11:02 1 Beach life in this renovated seaside condo overlooking the Gulf of Mexico from your veranda. there is a heated pool on the beach, one parking space under the building and ample parking for guests. laundry room (on each floor) opposite the beach lift. The hotel is located opposite the Venice Yacht Club and Higel Park, close to the marina, Crow's Nest and Freedom Boat Club. Just 1.6 km from the historic center of Venice with shops, restaurants and theater.

We had no key on arrival. Problems the entire time, host didn't respond. VRBO no help kept saying contact host who wouldn't respond. Terrible first experience with VRBO

Beautiful location; Condo not adequately supplied

Pros: You can walk right out to the beautiful beach. Lanai has an ocean view. The pool is small but heated. Large patio deck. Close to downtown Venice. Bed was ok. Condo itself was clean if you didn't include the lanai. Cons: Lack of arrival instructions!!! Arrived in the dark and couldn't get into the building. Spent at least half an hour trying to figure it out. Could have EASILY been communicated in writing prior to arrival. You will hear the elevator going up and down through the bedroom wall. One adult beach chair and one adult beach towel? For a beach condo it should be supplied with at least one per person. Coming from the snow, we were looking forward to the ocean view and breeze but the windows on the lanai barely opened and were so dirty it was a gray view. (A floor fan helped with cooling.) The bathroom sink doesn't drain. In the kitchen more than 4 spoons would've helped as well as a frying pan that would accommodate 4 burgers. Every rental we've stayed in has had adequate supplies. This was a big disappointment. We wouldn't be interested in renting from this owner again.

Owner is VERY difficult and unresponsive

We called / texted her daily to fix the toilet (ran continuously), fix an electrical outlet (I got a shock plugging in her lights on the lanai), and provide chairs on the lanai per the photos on VRBO (she told us to use beach chairs that don't come up to the height of the table). We told her we had 2 couples coming for cards, and instead of offering chairs, told us we couldn't have a party. She quit answering phone calls and texts, and hung up on me (twice) and a VRBO rep who was trying to help us get a resolution. VRBO offered us compensation for our troubleShe told us a plumber would be by between 11 am and 5pm to fix the toilet, expecting us to be there. We had plans for the day and it wasn't our responsibility. She told us it was "the rule" that we had to be in the condo if someone came for repairs, but no one was in the condo when pest control came in to spray for cockroaches and other pests.No oven mitts or sufficient dishes (four spoons, four plates...ended up washing dishes everyday so we would have clean plates, etc. for dinner), no cookie sheet or cake pans, no measuring cups or spoons (we were here for over a month and usually enjoy cooking), the bed is old (2012), sags and is uncomfortable, towels didn't look like the photos and would be ones I would use to wipe off a floor or car. For the price we paid, I expected the unit be better appointed.Her reputation with other condo owners is not great They offer condolences for renting from her, but nothing else.

Work from beach!

Lovely one bedroom condo! Perfect location steps from the beach. Easy walk to Crow’s Nest. Hubby had great hi speed Wi-Fi to do meetings. Definitely would rent again!

Winter in Venice

Overall we enjoyed just about everything regarding our stay at this property except for an unusual check in process. (Fortunately, we arrived before dark and other guests who had the same issue and helped us out.) And the cleanliness of the unit. We needed to clean the mold from the shower as the number one issue. However, so many other bases were covered such as cooking utensils, paper products, an essential wine opener!, beach chairs, etc. We particularly liked the location as it was literally a fall out your door and step onto the beach. Glorious!

Perfect Beach Condo

My wife and I had a great stay. The place was just as advertised in the photos and is in a great location for walking the beach and walking to the Jetty! Olga was a pleasure to work with and she was very responsive to any questions we had both before and during our trip. I believe we were first to rent this unit so there were a couple of kinks with the check-in process and WiFi access but I am confident she will have both resolved for the next renter. We would definitely rent this place in the future. FYI: It is 3 1/4 miles from tip of jetty to the end of the fishing pier.
