Beautiful Lake House on ATV/UTV/Snow Trails! Your Northwoods Adventure Awaits!

The Lazy Bear Lodge is a quiet family home nestled on the shores of Weber Lake in Mercer, WI. The Lazy Bear Lodge is a newer modern 4 bedroom/4 bath home accommodating up to 8 guests. Sleeping amenities include 5 queen beds and 1 queen futon. It boasts loads of spaces for entertaining (or relaxing), including a large great room, a walkout lower level, and a spacious wrap-around deck overlooking the lake. Amenities include WiFi, on-site laundry, a game room, and available paddle boards and kayaks by the lake. Weber Lake is a smaller non-motorized lake, perfect for fishing, paddle sports, and swimming! To keep your vehicles snow-free (or out of the sun), guests have use of the 2-car attached garage.

The Lazy Bear Lodge is situated just outside of Mercer, WI with nearby adventures for every season!

Snowmobile and ATV trails are accessible right out the front door. Epic bicycle trails (both on & off road) within minutes of the property. Winter downhill and xc ski trails close by Waterfalls everywhere, and other attractions in warmer months. Shopping and tons of great restaurants. County shooting range just south of town

Additional Property Details:

Amenities include on-site washer and dryer (with a supply of detergent pods), a dishwasher and other standard kitchen appliances (toaster, coffee maker, blender, etc). There just about everything you'd need for a meal (except the food). There are all kinds of pots & pans, a toaster, a microwave, a coffee maker, utensils and place settings. When it's time to relax in the cabin, enjoy chess, Uno, dominos, poker, or a number of other games supplied. You can watch one of the many DVD's in our on-site library, or stream your favorite blockbuster movie or TV show from one of the 65" screen TV's. The sleeping areas are comfortable and spacious, and the bathrooms are clean and modern. Towels, pillows, and linens are included (along with a supply of paper products for the kitchen and baths), so no need to bring anything but your ATVs, snow shoes, bicycles, skis, snowmobiles, or whatever else your adventures require.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful property

A beautiful house with a wonderful view. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the house was immaculate. Four bedrooms and four bathrooms worked out great for our annual "Girls Week". We enjoyed the lake, the fire pit, and the beautiful seating areas on the deck. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

UTV Getaway

This was a very comfortable, clean place to stay with a beautiful deck overlooking the lake. The one major disadvantage to us was the fact there wasn't any furniture at all on the deck to sit on.

Perfect Getaway!

I don't know that I can express how happy we were with the Lazy Bear Lodge! From the ease of check-in, the location, the amenities, cleanliness, it all exceeded our expectations! The location was close to town, two ways to get there, very easy to find and a large driveway with a 2 stall garage that we could put our vehicles in. The house was well supplied with anything we could need for cooking or entertainment. Plenty of games, puzzles, dvd's and room to relax. We were very impressed with the large yard, dock and gorgeous views. Communications with the owners was great and they were very responsive to any questions we had. Will definitely be staying again and recommending to our friends and family!

We LOVE Wisconsin

Our stay was flawless! The house was perfect! We enjoyed the outdoor space as much as the indoor space. The fire pit was perfect for relaxing around after our long daily side by side adventures. The openness of the kitchen, dining & living room space allowed us to gather comfortably as group. Our host made us feel comfortable and well cared for. We are from lower Michigan and we never imagined how much we would all fall in love with Northern Wisconsin. Every single person we encountered was friendly. Overall, we have zero complaints and will definitely come back.

A quiet place to relax!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is off the main highway making for a very quiet location. Still convenient access to local shops and restaurants. The open concept layout worked great for accommodating us all together while doing different things. We all loved the kayaks and paddle boards, including the kids. Fishing was great, caught several large and small mouth bass. The house was clean and it was nice that there was a bathroom for each bedroom. All switches were labeled which was very helpful. The deck was really nice and provided a great view of the lake. It would have been nice to have seating on it. Overall a great experience, we would love to come back. The host checked in on us via text and was responsive but not intrusive.

Stunning Property

Erik and Terri were nothing short of amazing hosts! They went above and beyond to answer every question we had prior to our stay! Their check-in and check out process were extremely well laid out and simple! We have stayed at many VRBO properties on our snowmobile and side by side trips and this one was by far the best! Trail access is just down the road and the guest binder had fantastic recommendations as far as establishments for food and drinks! Yukon 51, Pine Lake Lodge, Cranberry Inn and Wolfs Den were easy to access from the property! As far as this home, the space is absolutely gorgeous and the cleanliness is top notch! There was plenty of space for 6 adults and the extra touches Erik and Terri include are much appreciated including the use of a double attached garage for vehicles! I would highly recommend this property as you will not be disappointed in the cleanliness, space and ammenities!

Perfect home and setting

The home was perfect as was the location. There was plenty of room for our group of 7 to spread out and enjoy the large common area and large deck. The bedrooms were large, and with 4 bathrooms no one had to share. The kitchen was well stocked. The property was well maintained.

North Woods Paradise

Family summer escape

Spacious accomodations for two families with a range of ages (5, 6, 11, and 14). Unfortunately, cleaners did not come prior to our arrival, but the hosts expedited the process and sent us money to go out for dinner and enjoy Mercer for the evening. It was inconvenient, but dealt with promptly. The property is expansive, private, and quiet - a real escape! Big kids enjoyed paddle boards, littles really wanted more of a sand area (there is minimal shoreline for this), a swim raft would be a great addition. Not so lucky on fishing either. Evenings were beautiful, but come prepared for bugs. The bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, kitchen and open floor plan fit our group well. Well appointed and comfortable.

We have been coming to this property since it was built 10 years ago, as it was previously owned by by a family member. We are life-long Wisconsin residents, and fell in love with the Mercer area.. We are huge outdoors enthusiasts and Mercer has it all. We are avid bikers (both on and off road), and the nearby trails are truly world class. Iron County has amazing ATV and snowmobiling trails (the most in WI), and is well know as THE destination! From hiking waterfalls, cross country skiing, paddle boarding, and even shooting sports, Mercer was a no brainer destination for our adventures, and we want to share it with you!!

After purchasing this lake house, we converted it into a part-time family get-away and part-time vacation rental. We've spent months renovating and working to make this property rental-worthy. We hope you enjoy our slice of heaven in the north woods!
