Good stay in Thanksgiving

Perfect

Such a great time. It was the perfect mini getaway. The home was beautiful and clean. Great hospitality. We loved that it was peaceful around and was only a short drive to winery’s and brewery’s. The area was beautiful and relaxing. Highly recommend.

Peace and calm

Myself, my mother and brothers traveled to town for my grandfather’s funeral in Alburtis. This place was conveniently located and just a very special property. It’s mature trees, happy chickens, a cat and many song birds make it absolutely serene. We really enjoyed being together on the deck. The hosts’ attention and flexibility was just what my family needed to rest easier. The pub down the road was an excellent spot for us to come together around a meal without having to plan much or drive far.

Graduation Getaway

We stayed in the cottage for a weekend when our daughter graduated from nearby Kutztown University. It was the perfect spot to chill and hang out the day before and after the ceremony. We played pool, video games, and enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the chickens. The fresh eggs offered by our hosts were a nice touch! Just a few minutes from KU, and a pub/restaurant within walking distance.

Such a gem!

Matt and Tracey’s place was absolutely perfect for our family of four and a quiet weekend away. So many amenities and such a gem of a property. The roaming chickens and ducks were a hit with our 9 year old and we loved playing scrabble by the wood pellet stove being wintertime. The hot tub was fantastic and the game/pool room was such a great space for our family to enjoy some QT. A unique layout being a converted barn made it so much fun and winter cabin feel. Walking distance to Liberty at Dryville- incredible food, atmosphere and service. Hosts were beyond attentive and personable, we would love to visit again!

Stay at the cottage

We really enjoyed our visit. Loved the fresh eggs from the chickens roaming the yard. Kids loved the game room and we loved the jacuzzi. The owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything. Offering us extra eggs and everything we needed to make s’mores by the fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we need. Was everything we we’re hoping for for a quick getaway.
