Had a very nice stay here. Cabin was very clean and cozy. Was very quiet and peaceful. Nice area for easy strolls, a little river at the end of the street. Only briefly met the hosts (I usually keep to myself) and they were very kind. Would stay again.
The cabin was cozy and filled with thoughtful details. The layout was similar to a studio, and the host was exceptionally kind and accommodating. Everything matched the description in the listing.
The cabin is sweet and so very peaceful. When at the cabin I never heard anything but nature sounds. Cabin is very clean and bed very comfortable. I would definately stay again. Much needed retreat.
Thank you for the kind words about our cabin. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We cannot help but be curious why you rated us a 4…Sadly it effects our rentals.
This was my husband and I’s first ever bnb experience and it was beyond our expectations! The cabin itself was perfect for just us and the night sky photography opportunities were amazing! The host was very welcoming, provided everything we would need and so much more than that! We even bought one of the antiques they had at the cabin to hang in my garden as our keepsake. We will definitely look to book again in the future. Thank you for making our first experience one to set the standard for us.
Cute little cabin in a quiet area local to town and hiking areas. Very easy check in, thoughtful touches like snacks, soda and toiletries and very comfy. The host is very nice and responsive. Highly recommend!
Morning coffee on the darling front porch with an amazing view gave us the best start to our days. Sitting by the fire pit gazing at the stars was a perfect way to spend our evenings. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the shabby chic decor. I would love another chance to stay at The Rusty Nail. The peace and quiet was amazing.
We had an amazing stay at the Rusty Nail. It was a great distance to. Everything in and around Franklin. Cabin was small but perfect for two people.

About the host
Hosted by Jeanette Awtrey
We are a retired couple , I retired from teaching, my husband retired from management in a gas company. We have a tiny Yorkie named Tucker. We love hosting and meeting new people. You will find us sitting on the front porch at night, during the day we are out searching for antiques for our booth at The Whistle Stop Depot.
Why they chose this property
We choose this beautiful area to be close to my sister that owns 200 surrounding acres. A very private location and lots of wildlife.
What makes this property unique
Our property is unique because we have privacy, so much wildlife, close to so many fun and interesting places!
