Your comfort is very important to us, go play all day and come home to comfort! Ideal for couples, adventurers , brewery lovers and hikers! Perfect house

We loved this property. The house had more space than the pictures show. There was plenty of space to store our things including luggage. There was so much to explore both inside and out. Jeanette the host was lovely. My fiancé and I will definitely stay here again when we visit Franklin. We are anxious to check out the other house on the property ‘The Wild Turkey’.

The Wild Turkey

Amazing, quaint, and rustic cabin within minutes of downtown Franklin, NC. We wouldn’t change anything about the place and will definitely be back!

Simply AMAZING and COZY. MOUNTAIN PERFECTION!!!

We were so excited about our trip. We have been to Clayton and Dillard a few times, but wanted a weekend just the 2 of us in a tiny cozy cabin. The set up was beautiful and perfect. Check-in and check-out was super easy. Owner Jeanette was easy to communicate with. Franklin is a great town to visit with Waterfalls and mountain views. We will definitely will be back to visit the Rusty Nail. We thank you so very much for the opportunity to stay there and cannot wait until we can return. Hopefully it will be warmer and we can do some trout fishing in the area. Thank you again and May God Bless y'all. Mitch and Ashley.

Quiet Cozy

We enjoyed our 4 nights and Jeanette, David (and Tuck) was very helpful and kind. We even got a Christmas gift. Sharing the pics of the cottage with family and friends, we had a few "looks like a fairytale" place. We enjoyed our stay and plan to be back.

Anniversary getaway

The cabin was excellent and well cared for. Everything was clean and well decorated. The host was very friendly and inviting person. Could not ask for for our anniversary trim. Would recommended this for those who needs a time away.

Perfect Escape

This tiny cabin has it all! Rustic and adorable, very well maintained and clean. It is close to lots of great hiking and spots to eat. Owners are very respectful of your privacy and responsive immediately if there is anything that you need. I visit the area often and rarely stay at the same location, but that may change now that I've found this cabin!

Quaint and cozy❤️

This cabin is so cute and comfortable. We enjoyed all the cabin had to offer. We arrived in time to grill steaks, have a nice fire and enjoy the outdoor space as well as the cabin itself. The bed was comfy and the shabby chic decor made it so homey. Thanks Jeanette for the extra coffee and for making our AT section hikes so relaxing.

Quick getaway

This cabin was all I hoped for and so much more! The Rusty Nail was anything but! Our host was so accommodating and quick to reply! We had absolute privacy, the cutest decor, an awesome fire pit, and the snacks were the perfect touch! We will definitely be back!

Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very nice and easy to communicate with. The place was just what we needed. Nothing fancy just down home and quiet. Great location. Not to far from Cherokee, Bryson City and Highlands. All beautiful places to visit while here. We will definitely be back.

Great Getaway

Our stay at the Rusty Nail was wonderful! The tiny house was very clean and well stocked. Even though the host’s house is close by, it still felt very private. The scenery around the house was beautiful! Communication with the host was easy and response time was great. My only complaint is that the bed was uncomfortable, but we were only there 2 nights, so not a big deal.

Perfect weekend get-a-way!

We recently celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary at the Rusty Nail, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The cabin was adorable and incredibly cozy, making us feel right at home. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into creating an inviting and comfortable space for guests. Our favorite part was sitting by the firepit at night, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The location was spot on too—close to Franklin, the Highlands, and so many beautiful waterfalls! We can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a charming and relaxing getaway.

Love shack, aka tin roof, Rusty!

Such a great place for a fun, casual get away!! Beautifully decorated, and surprisingly well stocked needs. Spices, condiments, oil, all the little things you might need. I can't think of anything they missed. Definitely going back!

Perfect for couples!

Extremely pleased with everything the Rusty Nail had to offer. The cabin was everything we hoped for and more. The privacy and location for our exploring adventures couldn’t have been better. The cabin decor was super cool but nothing could top the great outdoor fire pit on cool evenings. Great check in and out procedures as well. We will defiantly be returning to this gem in the mountains.

Seeking relaxation? Look no further!

This cabin is adorable! The hosts are extremely hospitible and welcoming. Morning coffee by the firepit is a must. The scenery is wonderful with lots to see in the area. Definitely my faveorite little hidden gems! Put this one on your lists of must visits!

Perfect Getaway

The Rusty Nail tiny home was everything that was promised and more. Relaxing back to nature area. The home was so welcoming and has all that you need. I was a solo traveler and it was nice to have the host close by. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Cute little cabin

Cute little cabin in a quiet area local to town and hiking areas. Very easy check in, thoughtful touches like snacks, soda and toiletries and very comfy. The host is very nice and responsive. Highly recommend!
