Merry Méry

This former carpentry workshop, whose foundations date back to 1860, has become our family home after a total renovation in 2024.

The accommodation is on 3 levels:
-On the 1st level: the living room of 55m² very bright: with its wood stove in the centre (1 full log box at your disposal) to light a good fire in winter. The open kitchen is equipped (induction hob, hood, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, electric kettle, toaster, food processor (for soups), Bodum French press & Senseo coffee maker. You will find the bare minimum at your disposal (to be completed if necessary): oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, tea towels, ...
1 double bedroom (160 x 200 cm bed), a bathroom (shower) with a hairdryer, a separate toilet.
-On the 2nd floor, under beautiful exposed beams, 4 bedrooms: 2 double bedrooms with washbasin (140 x 200 cm), 1 bedroom with 4 single beds, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, a bathroom (shower) and a separate toilet. All beds are made and bath towels are provided.
-Downstairs, the cellars and the laundry room (washing machine and dryer available). Two cellars and the orangery are not accessible.

The house has just been completely renovated.
Travel cot, high chair and baby bath available.
South facing, you can enjoy the balcony with a view of Chambéry and the 1000m² garden (with garden tables and chairs).
3 parking spaces for cars in the courtyard.

Méry is a Savoyard village that has remained typical in the upper part of the village. Ideally located between lake and mountain: Lac du Bourget (5 km), Lac d'Aiguebelette (21 km) and Lac d'Annecy (43 km).
● Close to the city of Aix les Bains, Riviera of the Alps, dedicated to well-being and tourism with its cultural and historical sites, thermal baths, spas, restaurants, casino, racecourse and internationally renowned 18-hole golf course open all year round.
● Close to the city of Chambéry, historic capital of Savoie, rich in a ducal past and a wide architectural heritage (10 km).
● Close to the Massif des Bauges Regional Natural Park: Revard or Féclaz ski resorts (20 minutes). Hiking trails at the foot of the house.
● Close to the city of Annecy, the "Venice of the Alps" with its charming old town and natural lake.

Savoie will offer you an incomparable range of activities according to the seasons: alpine or Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, golf, cycling, hiking, tree climbing courses, paragliding, free fall, horse riding, canyoning, water skiing, sailing, pedal boats, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, gastronomy, viticulture, heritage, ...

For your shopping: a café/tobacco shop is in the village a 5-minute walk away (with a bread depot) and a commercial area with a Leclerc supermarket and other shops 4 km away.

Everything is done to make you feel good, like at home.

In order to maintain the tranquility of the place and good relations with the neighbours, noisy parties are prohibited.
