When it comes to a retreat and getaway, it doesn't get better than a peaceful waterfront view on the lake from your very own log cabin! This zen retreat greets you with high ceilings and tall turret windows. It is perfect for those who dream of an escape from the bustle of everyday life to a respite nestled in natural beauty with all of the comforts of home. Enjoy a waterfront sunrise and sunset from this hidden gem from the private balcony, screened porch, or private dock! Your Oasis awaits!

Coming to Lake Anna is a treat in itself. Staying in this modern, updated cabin is icing on the cake.

On a serene cove of Lake Anna on the public side, this magical escape has all of the amenities for a zen retreat! Walk right down to the floating dock to enjoy your morning mug or jump on a paddleboard and bask in the serenity and stillness of the lake on this private stretch of the public side. Throughout the season the water may be on the shallow side of the lake so please be mindful of that when booking if you want to bring your own watercraft! We have a 10 ft pontoon that navigates it well however bigger crafts may experience more of a challenge.

As you walk in, you will be met with vaulted ceilings, turret windows, and a stone wood-burning fireplace that will instantly give you permission to exhale as you start your getaway. Each room is kept as a private room with one bed in each space. There are 3 bedrooms, two with ensuite bathrooms, and one with an adjacent bathroom and a powder room on the main level. We also have a loft sleeping area with a full bed. The ground-floor primary suite has a private balcony and the jetted tub (a favorite!) Whip up a gourmet meal in our fully equipped chef's kitchen then cozy up as you watch the sunset dip into the Lake. Kick back and enjoy your favorite show, or play some games or go outside and enjoy the firepit (a new one under construction!).

Come and enjoy this peaceful oasis year-round as you'll be enamored by the way the cabin embraces each season. Perfect for your holiday!

Wonderful house on the lake

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. It was truly a relaxing getaway for our group. The house and the location were perfect. The hosts were exceptionally communicative and everything went very well. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get away and recharge.

Great family house

The house itself was great. Nice and clean. The outside and landscaping needs some attention. Also screened porch needed cleaning. One drawback on the dock was the ladder coming out of lake was missing the bottom half.

We had a great time and would love to stay here again. The only downside was the boat rental company wouldn’t allow us to take the boat to the house - area was out of bounds for them. But we still had a great time; plenty of room for our family. Host was super responsive and helpful!

First Trip to Lake Anna

This was our first vacation at Lake Anna. We enjoyed our vacation. The location was very private and quiet. There was sufficient room in the house for our entire family. We wish we had know about the algae problem that has been going on for the last 5 years. Based on our experience will most likely vacation in the Lake Anna area again.

Beautiful home with satisfying views

We loved the great-room just off the dining/kitchen area, as well as the boat dock for lounging and kayaking. Used the patio for grilling and campfire with s'mores. The location at the north end of the lake is a convenient launching point for area attractions. Couldn't really use the spare sitting room as a bedroom, but fortunately we didn't need it. Had a few minor issues, but the owner/host was very responsive.

Needs sprucing up of weeding gardens, cobwebs, and dirty windows, light bulbs, in MBR, kitchen, tv off internet in MBR, grill left dirty, fire pit base destroyed and unusable, part of handrail to lake is unstable, dock and son equipment unusable and ladder installed upside down, shoreline had tree limbs and dead fish. No instructions for thermostats to turn on heat; garbage cans left full in drive; had a good time with family and everyone had a good time anyway!

Lake house

The Main house inside was neat and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with pot and pans dishes ext. The outside needs a cleaning and picked up. Back patio needed repair work, weeds killed, and Grills were unusable. needed a good cleaning grease was bad on both grills. windows need cleaned. Garage was a usable on one side only. the other had junk all over the place. It's a nice place just needs some TLC. We would stay there again just pic the place up a little.

Striper camp 2023

This house was perfect in every way for our group. Some friends and I go to the lake the same week every year and just fish for 3-4 days. House was great location for what we were doing. The house was clean and really well stocked including the kitchen which we cook all our meals so this was very nice. We only had one problem and it was resolved within 30 mins of contacting the host which was very impressive. We have already booked house for next year for same trip.

Great house and location, but we had one issue...

We really liked the house, the lake, the area. However, we did encounter an ant problem at the house and the homeowner is aware and trying to fix it. Not fire ants, just annoying sugar ants. We ended up having to hide our food in the microwave and fridge, couldn't leave anything out on the counters, they find their way into any container it seemed.

Still waiting for my deposit refund.

The house and amenities in the house were excellent. Outside the house, the patio furniture was cheap plastic and not comfortable and there was no furniture on the dock or near the lake to relaxin. Although my biggest issue is why hasn't my deposit been refunded at this point being that it's been two weeks since we checked out.

Beautiful Home!

This home is beautiful and the hosts were quick communicators. We played a ton of games, including twister. With all of us 50+ in age, it was quite amusing! The home is quite comfortable. There was plenty of space for the 9 of us. Lots of choices in the kitchen for pots, pans, spices, condiments, etc. The home had everything we needed to live in for a few days with the exception of food and beverages. I would love to return to this home for a quiet weekend away. If I'm looking to swim, I would probably choose another location. When I go to a lake, I want to dive in the beautiful water. Unfortunately this location has about 2-3 feet of water at the end of the dock and a mucky lake floor. The ladder to the dock isn't finished to accommodate a comfortable exit. Despite that, this is a 9 out of 10 :)

Perfect lake house getaway!

I loved my stay at this beautiful home! It was so comfortably furnished. It was stocked with everything we needed for a fun girls’ weekend but would have been just as perfect for a family getaway with kids! Relax, you’re on Lake Time now!

Ever walk into a house, breathe a sigh of relief, and your vacation just starts? That’s how our weekend here started. Every detail you could think of has been taken care of in this meticulously maintained home. The lake is beautiful any time of day, but the sunsets are majestic. There’s a great feeling to this home, and the owners are very generous. The lake was also very quiet the weekend we were there, with plenty of birds to watch from the screened porch over coffee, and later wine & cheese. It was a lovely weekend & we could easily return for a future stay!

Perfect getaway!

We had a WONDERFUL time in this gorgeous, luxurious, well-appointed house, a surprise celebration for my husband's birthday! Even though the weather was less than desirable, it didn't matter because the comfortable furniture, huge fireplace, and beautiful view were perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed - and more. The owners were immediately available and so helpful before our trip and during our stay. We will definitely be back and look forward to enjoying the outdoor patio & firepit and the lake!

Perfect Winter Getaway for Special Occasions!

We had a MOST DELIGHTFUL 2 weeks at the beautiful Arrow Pt Cabin. The views and fireplace were the keys to spending time with friends and family celebrating our anniversary and even a birthday. The cleanliness throughout was impeccable. The kitchen furnishings (cooking/serving) were very complete and made it easy to entertain. We were so comfortable with the beds and all the necessary blankets to make the winter nights cozy. All in all, the attention to detail was apparent from the moment we walked through the front door until our splendid stay at Lake Anna was over. Thanks to the wonder hosts for making this place available to enjoy! We WILL RETURN!

Beyond wonderful, a real gem

What an absolutely magical place this is, especially at Christmas for our family reunion, felt like it was something right out of a movie. Beautiful lake views from almost every room in the house, sunsets most nights enjoyed from the fire-pit outside, paddle-boarding and kayaking from your personal deck. A lovely big sociable kitchen and dining room made it easy to prepare and enjoy our Christmas dinner and a beautiful fireplace with wood supplied. Everything about it was wonderful. Fred was incredibly prompt with any queries we had and could not have been kinder and more thoughtful, even putting up a Christmas tree, stockings and decorations to make it feel warm and welcoming. Would love to come back and experience the magic in another season.

There's a peace here at Lake Anna that we didn't think existed so close to DC that we couldn't keep it a secret. This home exceeds our dreams of an oasis with so much charm and fabulous allure. We can see the water from just about any angle from the back and those sunsets are just beautiful.
