This 2 bedroom penthouse is a great vacation rental for friends and families staying in Akumal on Half Moon Bay. Nikte 8 is of recent construction and tastefully decorated in elegant hues with beautiful artwork this condo offers guests stunning views of the Caribbean.

Featuring a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances and a large living room with 2 large comfortable sofas this penthouse can sleep up to 6 guests.

The primary bedroom is furnished with a king bed and en suite bathroom. The guest room has a king size bed (can be made into two twin beds upon request) and two trundle beds.
The master bedroom, living room, kitchen and expansive terrace provide guests with gorgeous views of the Caribbean from sunrise.
The guest room has a calm and relaxing view of the Mayan Jungle, perfect for sunset.

Guests can enjoy some of the best snorkeling right out the door and also Yal Ku Lagoon and Akumal Bay, all of which provide the very best off-shore snorkeling in the area. This one road town is no more than 1.5 miles long making its many eateries, dive shops, boutiques and stores easily accessible by foot, bike or golf cart. The more adventurous travelers seeking to explore more of Riviera Maya will find themselves a short drive from the many archaeological sites, eco-parks, golf courses, and the nearby cities of Playa del Carmen and Tulum.

*Please be advised that while Nikte Condominiums do have an elevator, the service is inconsistent and in no way guaranteed. Please anticipate using the stairs. Thank you!

Beautiful and Peaceful Condo

Great space for a get away with family or friends. Lovely views and ambient sounds of the ocean even with doors closed. Safe neighborhood tucked away from the hustle. Beach is a bit rocky so we recommend water shoes. Also plan for the elevator to intermittently work (you’ll need to like stairs). Beds are comfy and the kitchen has the basics.

There was a lot of seaweed or sargosa that prevented us from swimming out in the ocean but the pool was a great alternative. Overall the unit was nice with very comfortable furniture and beds. Peace and quiet, directly on the beach!

The property was incredible! Exactly as gorgeous as pictured, even better than described. The location is in the middle of everything and yet secluded enough it was nice and quiet. Akumal beach, Yal Ku, restaurants, all within walking distance! We snorkeled right in front of the condos every day. The concierge was amazing and so helpful! You have questions about anything: condo, taxis, sightseeing, restaurant recommendations, they'll help! Sidenote: maybe I missed it in the listing but there are room darkening blinds everywhere, which was amazing. The beds are very comfortable. Beach towels were also provided! The kitchen was stocked well and the laundry worked perfectly. We had a minor issue with the washer leaking while there and they took care of it immediately. Again, I can't say enough good about this place. Highly recommend!

Communication through email or text were always answered promptly. The property was clean and the pool was a delight! The elevator was down as stated in the reservation; you have a 50/50 chance of it working. We, of course, stayed on the top level... Movement and exercise are good for ya!!~ On that note, we rented a golf cart and Akumal Direct helped reserve. They drop off/pick up at the property for a fee, that I gladly paid! The Sargassum was low while we were there, however, we had one windy day and the staff came and cleaned it up. Live with Nature, it isn't going anywhere. All n All a fantastic stay!!~ Thank you.
