The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

This condo is perfect for your next beach-cation! It's well-equipped with everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. The kitchen has been equipped with all the essentials, including a French-door fridge, stove, oven, coffee maker, dishwasher, and microwave. Don't hesitate and surprise your loved ones with savory meals and beach snacks during your stay. The living area is all about comfort and coziness with inviting furniture and a TV. Then, make your way over to the private balcony and get ready to experience a picture-perfect sun set that will blow your mind! The on-site washer/dryer adds convenience to your stay.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

It was a lovely place, the Air conditioning hardly worked, and only one parking space. We had a family of 7 stay, with 3 vehicles, so one oarking space made it an absolute pain in the behind. The view was nice. Overall it was nice. Just fix the AC and give more than one parking space!!

Overall everything was lovely. But the AC wouldn't go below 75, which made it absolutely miserable, and only 1 parking space, which we had a family of 7 and multiple vehicles, so it made transportation such a hassel. If those 2 things got fixed I'd definitely return.

Regarding parking, the building’s Board of Directors assigns spaces during the summer, and availability is limited. Great Place!

We loved the unit. The place was clean,set up of rooms was perfect and also the location. Master bedroom could use a new mattress and there was no mattress cover on it. We loved the dual balconies too.

The beds we’re comfortable we all had our own bathroom, could of use toilet paper for each bathroom. View was great we had ocean front on one side and bay side the other. Just don’t go during motorcycles week, our mistake not there’s.

Golden Sands more than a destination

When searching for a great getaway I looked at several places. When looking through the pictures and its amenities i was sold. I shared the email with my sister coming in and both of us said if half as good it would be awesome. Our impression was it was better than the pictures. A true perfect destination and location. The balcony views were priceless. Awesome sunrise and sunset of the ocean and the bay. It was so roomy and clean. We'll be back!

The ocean view and location was good. The condo is very outdated and old. Not a very well equipped kitchen. AC unit broken and leak under kitchen sink.

Amazing views, lots of room.

Of course the view was amazing, looking over the ocean from the 14th floor. There was lots of room for all seven of us, with three full bathrooms and a big kitchen table with seven chairs. There are also multiple pools, a fitness center, ice cream shop and a tiki bar. The property has a private beach area with chairs and umbrellas, a volleyball court and plenty of chairs to lounge around the pool or sand. The room was clean and had plenty of towels, a full kitchen and washer and dryer. The mattresses are worn out and sag in the middle. Otherwise, a great place for a family to stay. Would go again.

Disappointment

The Apartment was very pretty in the best area but upon arriving the first night, I got up to use the bathroom to return to bed to find that my sheets had blood spots and other stains on them. This grossed me out so much so, that I couldn't trust anything else in the apartment. Ruining my whole vacation.

Not as bad as we expected

This place has beautiful views which is why we chose it to begin with. The place is a little outdated but honestly that didnt bother us. Looks like a great beach themed condo. The cleaners could do a better job at wiping stuff clean. I want the owners to know that part. Seems like they just wipe what they think you will see at first glance. But missed so many major details of wiping things clean. The owners can't fix the horrible elevator service though. There are four elevators and only one worked at any given time. We were there for a dance competition and were late one day due to the elevator issues. We literally waited twenty minutes just for one to come that wasnt jammed packed. If the other three worked it wouldnt have been an issue. We were on the fouthteenth floor so the steps with the big dance bags was nit an option. Has an indoor pool, a baby pool, and an outside pool. The pools seemed clean. The bar is an added bonus for the adults.

This is the 2nd year staying at Golden Sands and we were disappointed in this experience. The condo is over all functional for a stay, but given the price per night, I would have expected to have beds that didn’t have springs sticking out, linens that weren’t ripped, a washing machine that didn’t stain our clothes, outdoor furniture that wasn’t ripped, lightbulbs that weren’t out and the water/ice maker connected to the fridge have a filter so old, you couldn’t use it. You couldn’t close the curtains fully in the mornings. The fabric on the couches both inside and out felt grimey.

Condo needs updated

View & location is good but condo could use an update. Golden Sands does not offer the most ideal parking situation, One car per unit anything else has to park down the street to municipal parking, elevators are super slow. Don’t think we’ll stay there again.
