Find serene beauty, a secluded-yet-convenient location, and gorgeous views of Worromontogus Lake at this one-bedroom, lakefront property just outside downtown Augusta.
This rustic, lakefront escape is one half (the main floor) of a two-level home, offering its own separate entrance from the studio upstairs (which may be occupied by other renters). Here on the banks of Togus Pond - as this 654-acre lake is known locally - it's not uncommon to spot bald eagles, geese, beavers, and turtles. It's also a certified wildlife habitat and an ideal home base for those looking to be convenient to Augusta on their way to or from Acadia National Park.
Step inside to find a window-lined interior living space, where you can take in a view of the lake from nearly every room. There's a full kitchen where you can prepare breakfast each morning, decks on both sides of the house that are wonderful for sipping coffee, and even a provided canoe (shared with the upstairs studio) to take out for a relaxing paddle. The rest of the day can be spent reading in the sunroom, relaxing in the living room, enjoying the Roku TV, and gathering with your loved ones around the outdoor fire pit (which is shared with the studio as well).
