Just 10 minutes from the A5 highway exit and 45 minutes from Troyes, this charming stone property—nestled in the heart of a natural setting (river, woods, greenery)—is a true haven of peace offering an incredible escape from everyday life. Alexandre, a “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” chocolatier and confectioner, will share his expertise with you during workshops or pastry and chocolate-making classes in his on-site kitchen (conditions and information available from the owners). Nearby, you’ll find a gourmet supermarket with regional products in the village; you can also stop by the Renoir Museum in Essoyes, visit Champagne cellars, take a stroll along the shores of the Forêt d’Orient Lakes, or spend a day at the Nigloland amusement park. This holiday rental does not permit parties or festive events. On the ground floor: a spacious living area with a pool table, dining area, sitting area with a library, and a fireplace; a kitchen; a double bedroom with a private shower room; and a separate toilet. Upstairs: a relaxation area on the mezzanine, a master bedroom (160x200 bed) with a private bathroom, a double bedroom (140x190 bed), a triple bedroom (160x200 bed + 80x190 bed in an alcove), and a bathroom. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. Outside: heated pool, open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., June through September (weather permitting; please bring your own pool towels), swing, tennis court, lounge chairs, relaxation area, pétanque court, hot tub (not available in winter), fitness equipment (treadmill, exercise bike, weight bench, etc.). The garden is fenced in at the front of the property but not at the back, which borders the river. Beds made upon arrival, linens provided, utilities included, cleaning included (except for business stays).
