This cozy condo was exactly what we were Looking for and had all that we needed to enjoy our stay. We were able to ski and hike due to the spring like weather. This is our second time renting from this mgmt company and find them to be quite responsive. Thank you!!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a nice stay! Had a difficult time getting to the rental office and was not able to check in early, this was a challenge because we were traveling with a 2 year old. The condo was nice - just needed a little minor attention.
Response from VrboOwner on 31 Mar, 2020
Checkin time is 4 pm. Though we try to accommodate requests for early checkins, we cannot always do this because previous guests checked out on the same day.

Keys did not work to enter the building

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: You should make sure the keys work to enter the buidling before leaving them for the guests. It was a pain trying to get into the building when they should have worked.
Response from VrboOwner on 31 Mar, 2020
We feel your pain!! We really do. Keycards use magnetic strips and these strips can be demagnitized or otherwise become damaged. There is no practical way to test keys before they are given to guests. We have to assume that the system is working. The system is rated at 99.99% efficent. However, when you factor in the other uncertainties, we have found that the real world efficency is closer to 99%. The solution we have is two fold. 1) We hand deliver keys to guests if they have a problem with existing keys. 2) We maintain emergency lock boxes at the front door of each building that will allow us to give you a code over the phone to get in right away. We know this is not a perfect solution, but given the type of system in the resort, it is the best we can do :-(

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Truely a home away from home! I was impressed! Nicely decorated, cozy condo w/ dishwasher, microwave, fridge, stove/oven, fireplace, sitting balcony, super comfy couch, perfect size for 2 (4 will fit). Awesome location, right in the middle of the little town, only 4 min walk to Gondola. Loved it! Got a great rate, cheaper than any Inn or hotel around. You get discount for ski rental and at some of the restaurants too.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The husband and I enjoyed our weekend at your condo. It was really some downtime for us, so we spent a lot of time inside, so we really appreciated all of the HBO channels. The hot tubs were also nice. I just had trouble keeping the temperature regulated as it (condo and building) seemed quite hot--I usually get warm easily. Thanks so much!

Spring Break 2013

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the convenient location of this condo. The garage parking was a plus. However, one keycard did not work on building or garage. The pool was a bit farther of a walk than expected. There were a few minor maintenance issues that need to be corrected but they did not disrupt our stay. I would definitely recommend Silver Mill.

Nice place, bed’s awful

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a nice place. There were a few things that needed fixing - like a shelf coming off the wall in the entry. However, the whole experience was ruined when I couldn’t get any sleep. The master bed is memory foam. I slept about 3 hours because I was so uncomfortable. Why would somebody put this in a vacation rental? It’s a very personal decision for a bed that only few people like?? Makes no sense!
Response from VrboOwner on 23 Mar, 2024
Finding a mattress that satisfies the mass amount of renters we see is just not possible, but we do like to see every guest comfortable during their stay. If someone does not like the mattress we can offer a replacement air-mattress or mattress topper if we are made aware of the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for your feedback!

Leadville 100 mile Run -Keystone Fun

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at the lodge. Since we were helping our son-in-law as he raced the Leadville,100 mile, we were not able to fully enjoy the Keystone surroundings until after it was over. The Blues and Art fest were fun and we especially liked the close proximity to the restaurants and shops within walking distance of the lodge. Great idea! We wished the hot tub was available but understand that they were being remodeled. In the actual room #8266, we tried to use the gas fireplace but it wasn't working. You may want to check it out. Please keep us on your mailing list as we would like to come back next summer with family for a longer stay. By the way, my last name is spelled Schwien- not Scheien. Please correct. Okay place to stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I were on a weeklong ski vacation and stayed in this property. He had altitude sickness the entire week, so we spent a lot of time in this condo. Pros: Location was great, walk to the lift was super quick and easy. Amenities in the building were also very nice. Maintenance had to come fix the fireplace and he was super nice. Cons: In the winter, even with the windows closed, there is a lot of traffic in the parking lot outside the condo and it is very noisy. Also, the TV is really outdated. You get cable, but there isn't a guide that I could find and you have DVDs. I love NetFlix and YouTube so having my laptop was a necessity here since we spent a lot of time inside. Lastly, the property management company didn't follow up to make sure my fireplace got fixed (something simple, I know, it's the little things that make the difference). Overall, not bad, I wouldn't pick this unit again based on the noise and TV.

Nice and cozy

This property was small but cozy! Three adults and an infant fit just perfectly without stepping on each other’s toes! Great price especially for the location! If there was one thing to add, it would be a humidifier. But other than that we were pretty pleased!

Great location and Great value. Poor property management

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place itself was nice. The location was by far the best thing about it. However, the checking in process made me second guess my decision. They have check in at 4pm in a location a mile away from the place. We called for early check in and they said they would call us as soon as it was ready. They never called so we showed up to pick up the key right around 3:45m. It still wasn’t ready. We waited until 4pm exactly, only for them to tell us it would be ready til 5pm and they would refund us $25 for the hour. They then gave us a key to get into the parking garage of the condo so we could park and walk around the town, but when we arrived the key didn’t even work. They said they would call us if it was ready before 5pm. I hadn’t heard anything from them by 5:15pm so I called them and got no answer. Someone called me back and said “oh your key is ready, did no one call you???” So in short. Great location and great place to stay. But how management handles their check in process and communication is questionable.

Colorado Ski Heaven

After a two year absence from Colorado Snow, in spite of this lousy pandemic, we were excited to get back to the Rocky Mountains! Silver Mill is an excellent location to stay if you want to avoid driving or catching a bus to ride the River Run Gondola to the top of Keystone mountain. Short five minute walk from the condo. The booking, check-in, and check-out of this property was stress free and efficient. The property manager provides thorough information to assist with all Silver Mill facility info, local attraction information, condo amenities, etc. The condo is located on the fourth floor of the Silver Mill and faces the parking lot. The condition of the condo can be described as "Tired". The couch and love seat have seen better days and aren't very comfortable. Need Replacement. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook a meal and the refrigerator has ample room to store food. The cabinets are stocked with plenty of plates and cups of various sizes to meet your needs. Unfortunately we had dirty dishes that were placed in the cabinets. I would question the cleaning staff as to how thorough they inspect the property when prepping for the next renter? Not too happy, as we paid a big fee for cleaning, yet some of the dishes in cabinet were gross and dirty. Begs to question, is anything really cleaned other than sheets and towels being changed? The living room carpeting was dirty and was littered with crumbs and was obviously not swept! We tried to sweep them up with the "Dirt Devil" sweeper in the condo but it was useless and did not pick up the crumbs. Cleaning Fee, what a joke. The bathroom needs attention too. The sink faucet handles are not installed properly and made it difficult to turn the water on and off because they move and are not secure. The faucet itself moves side to side and is not installed properly. The shower faucet handle is about ready to fall off too. Pack your ear plugs because at 5:30AM everyday the snow plows clears the parking lot and the windows DO NOT prevent the sound from waking you up. It is loud and consistent for at least an hour plus. Honestly, the plow sounds like it is driving through the bedroom EVERYDAY! Very annoying if you are trying to sleep. The windows do not lock and cold air pours in from them all the time. This Condo needs some TLC bad.

Condo was stocked with everything you need to cook/eat in place. There was even extra coffee filters (we brought the wrong kind). Extra bedding and towels were available in closet and in bathroom. Property management was fabulous! Tons of open communication and information. Parking was another added bonus. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

River Run Silver Mill Condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect location, 2-3 minute walk from gondola and ski school (if needed) which is why you stay at River Run. These condos are about 20 years old but this one is still in good shape with some fresh paint and nice carpet. Showing some wear on furniture, but not bad. Master/king bed is very comfortable and pull out couch/sleeper sofa is decent too. It is on the parking lot side so snow plows will greet you at 5:00am or so. It has everything you need to cook in, but it is by a couple of River Run restaurants too for dining out. Bathroom is clean and they have high quality towels. Only complaint was cleanliness of some areas. There was a ton of dust on top of the fridge and the cookware on it. Also, there were some ramen noodle bits in the bedroom nightstand which is one of the only places to store clothes. A bit disappointing when you are bing charged a hefty cleaning fee in addition to the room rate. With COVID-19 prevalent, it begs the question of how clean and/or sanitized the place was.
