Fantastic stay. Beautiful part of the country. Very underrated. Tons of things to do in the area, but the property is remote. Fantastic host. Hope to come back.
Property was very well kept up, property was mowed in all locations and being close to Little River was great! Enjoyed the fishing and playing with the dogs.
We absolutely loved our stay here!
We're planning on coming back in the fall sometime to see the trees turn... There's a fantastic drive between Honobia and Talahina on a winding, hilly, two lane road we plan on driving.
Thanks so much Jed, we can't wait to come back!
These are great cabins if you want to be away from crowds. Very clean, and it has all the needed utilities, running water, electricity. There are two dogs in the property, they are very playful and friendly. Amazing experience.
If you are looking for an awesome place to get away from it all, this is the place. Everything you need without all the people and noise. Everything was as it should be with no surprises. The fishing on the river was quite enjoyable as well. The host, Jed, responded to all my messages in a very timely manner and answered all my questions. Could not ask for a more pleasant get away so close to Dallas. Definitely going back!
This property was amazing. Great little get away and both my boys didn’t even want to leave. Dogs were by our side as soon as we arrived until we departed. Highly recommend this cabin if you want to be away from other cabins as this is one of 4 on the property. The seclusion was exactly what we were looking for.
Clean and very cute little cabin. It was nice to walk down to the river and admire the stunning scenery. We came in the winter and didn’t play in the river but it looks like it would be super fun to do that. We got to watch some eagles and loved playing with the sweet dogs. We loved that it was a secluded and quiet location. Very special place!

Thanks for the review! Please come back when it warms up.
This was an amazing stay. Jed gave clear instructions and also gave tips to the places to go if you needed anything from town. My Husband loved the river and land. My favorite thing was the puppers. They are always down to play.
I brought my two sons and my father in law to the cabin for a boys weekend. We had a wonderful time. The property is great, the boy loved the kayaks and the river. We will definitely come back again in the future! The host was very accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had.

Breathtakingly beautiful and quiet property!
The cabin is nicely decorated with a queen bed, couch (with fluffy throws for lounging and soft pillows), a small desk if you absolutely MUST do any work, a precious loft and a kitchen with a fridge, hot plate, microwave, toaster oven and coffee makers (drip coffee maker and one that uses k-cups, so bring your favorite coffee and filters or k-cups). It was brutally cold outside during our stay but while inside you’d never have known! They also had a portable fan (in addition to the ceiling fan) for those like us who have to have a fan on our face for sleep!
The porch is the perfect “sitting porch” with a table and chairs in which to plant yourself and enjoy the quiet and beauty of nature.
The river is just down the way behind the cabin and the fire pit was well stocked with wood, which we enjoyed on our last night.
We were bummed that we couldn’t bring our dogs, but were happy to meet and play with the Directors of Entertainment, Buddy and Bleu, all weekend!
In short, you WANT to book this cabin (or one of their others) for your next stay if you are needing or craving a peaceful and comfortable retreat.

The highlight of our stay was definitely playing fetch every morning with the adorable dogs Bleu and Buddy, who brought so much joy to our trip. The property itself was stunning and provided a peaceful atmosphere, allowing us to relax and unwind. The cabin was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I must also commend Jed for his prompt responsiveness and for graciously allowing us to enjoy his wonderful property.
Our stay was marvelous, and included everything you could imagine for a lovely nature-inspired vacation. The hosts were super nice, but their two dogs were the best! We looked forward to their loving and playful antics each time we left the cabin. Totally had the best time at the dirt track race on Saturday night. A visit to Clayton and Sardis Lake were also highlights of our trip. The lush green beauty of the mountains will be calling us back soon.

Thanks so much for coming out to our slice of heaven in SE OK. We hope you can come back again very soon.
Loved this one room cabin. Enjoyed the peace and quiet and fell in love with dogs, Buddy and Blue. Only negative was cell phone didn't work in that area of country, only in or near the cabin. Some of the locals said Verizon doesn't work around there.

Yes being is the mountains and valley does interfere with some services. Glad to hear you had a good time. Come back in the Fall when the leaves change color. Jed
