4/10 Poor

Vanessa, the concierge, was phenomenal and truly the bright spot of our stay. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the property or its management. The house is currently on the market and appears to be poorly maintained. During our stay, a toilet overflowed overnight, leaving roughly two inches of standing water throughout the casita, which required maintenance to address. The washing machine was also broken, preventing us from returning home with clean clothes. To make matters worse, the property manager asked if a potential buyer could tour the home during our stay, which felt inappropriate and disruptive. This is disappointing because the home is well tucked into nature and relatively close to Manuel Antonio, which initially made it appealing. We own a vacation rental ourselves and fully understand that issues can arise. However, what stood out most was the lack of sympathy and disregard from both the manager and the owner. It gave the impression that corners are being cut while they focus on selling the property.Overall, this property is a hard pass, which is unfortunate given its location and potential.
