This place is outstanding! Owners were extremely helpful, house was perfect, and folks who care for it were accessible and kept it spotless. The two golf courses were also very good (not easy but good) and the fee was worth it (house comes with golf cart). The yearly members were friendly and quick to fit snowbirds into their various leagues if you were interested. Community also offers other activities as well. Just a couple of tips. Bring sunscreen, plenty of golf balls and leave gators alone. Other than that, this is a ten on a scale of one to ten.

We have rented this property for the past 4 years during the winter months and plan to continue to do so. The house is always extremely clean and well maintained upon our arrival. If any problems arise, the property manager is on site and does an excellent job of addressing any/all concerns. The fantastic view from the lanai starts daily with a full view of the rising sun and continues all day with a fabulous wildlife display from the pond behind the house, to a view of the golf course, then on to the larger Lake Ashton. We so much enjoy the friendliness of the community members and are always welcomed into any and all activities. There are activities available for all interests and ability levels, such as dancing, cards, tennis, pickleball, exercise, golf, bingo, bocce ball, and a large assortment of professional entertainment offered.
LEGOLAND, Wal Mart, many excellent restaurants, and a large shopping mall, among many other stores, are within a 10 minute radius. We enjoy the ability to shop and not have to fight traffic.
We know some people have rented this property during summer months while looking to buy a house in the area, while their house was being built or work was being done on their own home, or visiting friends who are owners.
We would highly recommend this home for a marvelous vacation.

A California girl who ended up in Michigan. I love to travel both close to home and to far flung areas. I began hosting with VRBO in 2011 with a home in Florida that we no longer own. After a five year hiatus, I listed an apartment in our historic home in Kalamazoo, MI and have enjoyed reconnecting with the VRBO community!
