A digital nomad’s paradise! With an ambiance of eternal summer, Mission & Sail Bay are for those looking for a place to focus and re-center themselves. This hip, comfortable home is 2 blocks from Sail Bay & 7 blocks from Pacific/Mission Beaches. 3 bedrooms, each with memory foam mattresses and natural light (2 of which have very nice work spaces). The private back yard with grill and lovely garden is unheard of in PB!

This home is very peaceful & private even though it's within blocks of all the best beach restaurants and bars. Whether it's paddle-boarding, sailing or yoga on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific blue, you will most certainly find the area to be San Diego's water wonderland.

For our digital nomads, you have two private work spaces with desk, new Dell monitors and high quality ergonomic Humanscale World One chairs, located in 2 out of 3 bedrooms. Display port cables are connected to the monitors, but we recommend bringing the cables that your devices require to make setting them up straight forward.

The private back yard with mature landscaping essentially doubles the living space since it's almost always pleasant to be outside in San Diego! We cultivated a space that incorporates sustainable practices with an inspiring environment for relaxation. We welcome you to compost, if you wish to participate in our a joyous green gardens health, recycle, or enjoy the fruits and vegetables growing in our urban habitat for birds and bees.

Beach cruisers are provided for you to get out and explore the stunning wetland preserve along Mission Bay, or any the unparalleled miles of coastal boardwalk along our scenic beaches. Plan a picnic at Kate Sessions or a sunset bonfire…any and all of these are truly a ritual and way of life around here, made for cherished memories.

Guests will have access to 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living & dining rooms plus fully stocked kitchen. There's a long driveway with room to park 2 vehicles in tandem. Unfortunately, we do not have a washer and dryer for your stay.

We enjoy bi-coastal living and return to this home, where we lived full-time for 10 years, monthly. There is no washer or dryer and the garage and master bedroom closet will be locked. The rest of the home however, has been setup for guests. We only have the home available when we are out of town.

Great location!

Very clean, well maintained, and offered some nice amenities especially for a family with infants. The host, Heather, made sure we were taken care of when the property listed AC under amenities but did not have one. Apparently it was a window unit that had been removed but the listing had not been updated. Other than that, our stay was wonderful. Short 5 min walk to the bay shore. Kiddo had fun playing on the beach and playground right off the bike path.

Location is good

We stayed for 3 nights at the property during mid August and the weather was high 80s to low 90s. It was really hot & humid and when I booked the property, A/C was listed. That's why we booked it. However, when I checked back, the A/C was removed from the list of Amenities and was never communicated to us. I find that misleading especially when I specifically filter to properties with A/C. We should have been told and given an option to change our booking. I will most certainly write to VRBO regarding this. We've been to Pacific Beach and LaJolla before, and this location is not bad. The house is spacious, and older, so no bathroom fan, there were ants in the planters in the kitchen window (which were removed by Heather). Also, there's no laundry on site, I had to take it to a laundrymat. We were able to communicate with Heather, she was responsive about bringing in an extra fan, removing the plants with ants.

Hi Angela, I appreciate your feedback and feel terrible your stay wasn't what you had hoped for. I take great pride in providing the best possible experience for each of our guests and assure you we were not trying to mislead anyone with regards to the availability of air conditioning. Unfortunately there was an oversight on our end because the owner recently removed the AC window unit due to noise/poor functionality and the listing wasn't updated (the listing has now been corrected). In retrospect I should have offered you the opportunity to cancel but from our dialogue regarding the situation I incorrectly assumed you were comfortable with no air-conditioning in the home. The house usually gets a nice cross breeze from the bay and is comfortable a large majority of the year without AC but unfortunately during your stay there was a severe heat wave. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience and have spoken to the owner who has agreed to process a 30% ($315) refund. Hopefully this helps and again sorry for the inconvenience.
