Come and stay at the beach!! Located on quiet Sail Bay, yet only 2 minutes walk to the ocean and busy Mission Beach, this is southern California at its best. Watch the kids play on the beach from the balcony with its unobstructed views of beautiful Sail Bay.
You can rent a bike and cycle along the boardwalk, or just hit the beach and relax.
With many restaurants, bars and cafes nearby you can walk everywhere, and leave the car in one of your two private parking spaces.
This beautiful, bright, clean, and spacious vacation home is just steps to the serene Sail Bay beach, and two minutes walk across Mission Blvd to Mission Beach and the ocean.
This 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo spread over 2 floors is perfect for family and friends to enjoy.
Downstairs the large living room has sliding doors which open out onto the balcony with its grill and table and chairs, where you can watch people cycling, jogging, and walking along the boardwalk. On the water you can see paddle boards, kayaks, and sail boats go by. Whether drinking your coffee in the sunshine in the morning or watching the SeaWorld fireworks on a warm summer evening you’ll be spending a lot of time here.

The spacious modern kitchen has a table that will seat 4, and is fully equipped with everything that you’ll need.
Upstairs the master bedroom, with its own private full bathroom offers a queen bed, from where you can watch the sunrise in the morning, and a large walk in closet.
The second bedroom is next to another separate full bathroom and offers two twin beds, and lots of closet space.

The property was as advertised with nice views of the bay area. It was busier than we expected, but that was okay for people watching. The area has a lot of transients, but also something we expected. Mission Beach is a charming, old school beach community with a ton of dining options in our area. We liked Guava Beach Bar, but I am sure others were also excellent. Our main complaint was the size of the beds, which for four adults, were smallish. But the rest of the weekend more than made up for that.

Fun location right on the beach (Bay side). The house was comfortable and easy to access. The kitchen and bathrooms have been remodeled. The living room and bedrooms are dated but we didn't come for the decor. The only slight snag was a lot of sand in the closet with the beach gear that unfortunately spilled out everywhere. Hopefully that closet gets cleaned out in between renters as well.

Really enjoyed our time in this condo. Perfect location with the beach just outside the door. Nice cafes and quiet restaurants and bars a couple of minutes walk away. The condo itself was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, safe and quiet location. Ideal access to bay and ocean. On the surface, things looked clean but doors and light fixtures could use some TLC. No AC, and provided fans weren’t all functioning properly. I wish there were more beach amenities. We were given 4 beach towels but one was bathroom towel. 2 boogie boards were available but one was broken.

We're from England and love California and the west coast. We have a soft spot for San Diego in particular, and when the chance to own a little bit of it for ourselves came up, we jumped at the chance.

Why they chose this property

It is in a quiet peaceful location, with beautiful views and only 2 minutes walk to many convenience stores, cafes, coffee shops, rental shops, bars, quality restaurants and Mission Beach on the otherside of Mission Blvd.
Walk 10 minutes north and you will get to the Crystal Pier area, which has many more lively bars and great restaurants.
Walk 10 minutes south and you will get to Belmont Park and the famous wooden rollercoaster there, and all the other nearby attactions.
Jump in the car, and SeaWorld, Downtown San Diego, the Old Town, beautiful La Jolla, Torrey Pines, and many many more attractions are close by.
Also Legoland and Disneyland are easily reachable.

What makes this property unique

We love the piece and quiet of the bay, the fantastic sunrise in the morning, and just sitting on the balcony watching the world go by.
Breakfast at the Olive Cafe around the corner never disappoints, and having everything within 2 minutes walk is a great bonus.
Watching the sun go down over on Mission Beach followed by a steak at Saska's across the road, and then walking back for a glass of wine on the balcony makes for a great end to the day.
