The spacious house has 4 bedrooms (w/screens and fans), 2 kitchens, 3 bathrooms, 3 sofa areas w/hammocks on 2 large balconies, 2 breakfast bars, dining booth, private gardens and secure parking. Unlimited Purified Potable Water from the tap and WIFI (200 mbps) are also included for our guests. The house is very conveniently located just 5 mins walk from beaches/town/shops/restaurants etc. in a peaceful local residential area on the beautiful forest edge.

Great Location and Beautiful Property

Great place to stay for a family or group vacation to Puerto Viejo. Easy walking distance to the gorgeous Playa Negra and to the center of town for shopping and restaurants. My family of six had plenty of room, and more beds were available. Communication was superb, Sirlen contacted me almost every day just to see if we needed anything, and when I asked if there were beach towels or beach chairs, they were immediately delivered. Outstanding hospitality.

Last minute

My original property fell thru as my last connection was leaving the airport and VRBO helped find this place as a replacement. What a blessing that happened the way it did. Our stay here was so much better than i could have hoped, this was the most beautiful property, perfectly clean and well appointed. I cannot say enough good things about our host, not only did she get this place ready last minute for us, she checked in to make sure all was well, and called the night before we left to inform me of a closure of the main highway back to San Jose, along with offering us alternative routes. We would have been in bad shape at the beginning and end of our trip if it werent for this wonderful woman. Thank you.

This BRAND NEW and unique home away from home has been lovingly up-cycled, giving it a stylish comfortable feel for guests to enjoy. Built around a reclaimed structure, using sustainable resources and recycled materials in many parts of the design. The house is private and very conveniently located only 300 meters from the coral reef beaches and vibrant town of Puerto Viejo, situated in a local residential neighbourhood, nestled on the edge of the forest. This wonderfully located property is just far enough away from the bustle of town to enjoy the tranquillity and magic of the jungle yet close enough to make the most of all Old Harbour has to offer. You can go to sleep to the sound of waves crashing on the nearby shore and wake up to the howlers calling in the new day from the adjacent tree line.

What makes this property unique

We provide FREE drinking water plus linens, soap and toilet paper are also supplied. The house is totally private but we are nearby should you need anything at all during your stay.
