Property was very nice. The wind was very strong the first two days and so we stayed inside. The construction of three stories above the drive-under makes the building somewhat top-heavy. We watched a glass of water slosh from the effects of the wind moving the building. Would not want to be there is a hurricane. Heavy table and chairs for eating were awkward to move around.

We've stayed at a lot of beachfront homes in the Carolina's over the years and when comparing this home to some of the best homes I'm giving it 4 stars. It's a nice home just not the cream of the crop. Most of the bedrooms are much smaller than than they appear in the pictures and they felt a little tight when occupying them. While sand is always an issue at beach homes housekeeping could have done a better job of getting the sand off the floors. The entry mats were overflowing with sand when we arrived because they hadn't been cleaned the same with the entry and parking surfaces, meaning everyone entering the house couldn't help but bring in more sand than necessary. They had a hose near the entry and I've stayed at other homes where the cleaning people cleaned the entry mats and hosed away the sand near the entry to at least keep it a bay a little better. Overall I'd recommend staying at this property but there are a few nicer ones at similar pricing.
