Delphi is a nicely decorated and well maintained ocean front beach house located in the desirable Yaupon Beach area of Oak Island.

Delphi is conveniently located near the main Oak Island bridge, for easy access to mainland and Southport, and less than a mile from the Oak Island town center, shops, restaurants, cafes, and the only grocery store on the island !

The house is located on a large corner lot with plenty of parking and direct beach access. It’s on a quiet street with minimal traffic and road noise. A big plus given that most ocean front homes on the island are along the main busy road.

Enjoy over 2000 sf of living space with beautiful ocean views. There are four spacious bedrooms, living room, dining room, loft, kitchen, 3.5 baths, large deck and a gazebo by the beach. Two ocean front master bedrooms, one on each floor, with king size beds and a private ensuite, plus two other bedrooms, each with two full/queen beds.

There is an HDTV, HD cable and Blu-Ray player in each bedroom, as well as the living room and the loft. The house is equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth sound bar, large capacity washer & dryer, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, kitchen appliances, dual-zone central AC/heating system and ceiling fans in each room.

We had a wonderful stay. This is our third stay at this house. We had an issue and the owner was quick to reply and go above and beyond to resolve the issue. We will be back for sure!

Beautiful New Year at the Beach

Comfortable, cozy house that easily fit us all and provided beautiful views all week long. Had everything we needed, in a perfect location. The weather cooperated so well. Excellent location, steps away from the beach and an easy walk to the pier. Communication with the host was easy. Would definitely return.

Great beachfront stay

Couldn't have asked for a better location especially with two young kids. Everything is within a few minutes drive. Kitchen was stocked with necessary pans, toaster, silverware. Beds were comfy.

Great weekend

Mike could not have been nicer, and the house provided plenty of space for our family of 10. Even though we stayed outside most of the time, having tvs in everyone's room was convenient, and the location was perfect for great food and shopping. Hope to visit again soon.

Great Stay

We vacationed at Oak Island every summer when our kids were growing up. This is the first time we had been back as a family -with grandkids now! The house was great. Many updates that weren’t in the listing. Great access to the beach—especially with the dune restoration and limited access. Couldn’t have been better. We will be back

Perfect get away

House was just as advertised. Perfect size for our family with 3 grown children and 2 grand babies under 12 months. Living room was a great size for us all to be in including crawling babies. Great location as well. Porch looked great with the composite decking but can get really hot with no covering. Overall 5/5

Spacious property to accommodate our family of 8. Beautiful ocean views with direct access to the beach. Cleaning crew could have done a better job Cleaning the kitchen and upper master bath. Kitchen cabs were dirty especially on the exterior ...carpets are ready for a Cleaning as well and just an overall deep cleaning. We were pleased overall and enjoyed our family vacation!

Mother Daughter Weekend

This cottage has great beach access and is easy to get to Southport and Wilmington. Cottage has great space but needs some updates, especially the kitchen. It would be helpful if someone would go through the kitchen cooking utensils, eating utensils, glasses and cookware to ensure the kitchen is properly stocked (i.e., there was no spatula, only 4 glass wine glasses, not enough teaspoons etc.).

Wonderful Beach Experience

We found Delphi to be exactly as described in the property summary. Here are some things that we found to be unique. Although the house is oceanfront, it is situated back from an established dune. This provided a beautiful variety of landscapes to enjoy while on the gazebo. Even though we are directly next to a beach access, there was very little traffic and did not deter at all from our privacy. We also enjoyed the location on the island. Very close to shopping and access to the mainland with very low traffic volume on our street. The owner was very quick to fix a slight hiccup in our check-in and we appreciated the communication. A+, we will definitely stay again.

Great property location! Not enough toilet paper, paper towels provided. Some deferred maintenance needed especially kitchen drawers and cabinets. Several lamps without bulbs. Owner very responsive and timely with responses. Hard to tell layout from pictures.

Great vacation beach house!

This house was exceptional. Great views, especially from two of the three bedrooms on the second floor. All of the bedrooms are big and have nice beds. Lots of TV's and DVD players available for movie nights and workouts! The beach access is only steps away and the deck is much bigger than we expected. We enjoyed sitting in the gazebo and reading at the picnic table in the afternoon when the sun was hot. We had plenty of room for 6 adults and could have easily brought more people. The grocery store and a few restaurants are nearby. We would definitely rent this house again!!! Thanks Mike for sharing your home with us!

House was great. Beds were comfy We wish instructions about linens had been clearer. No indication if they were included or not in earlier communication, therefore we assumed they WERE included. Later check in instructions led us to believe perhaps they were not so we rented them unnecessarily. Could have done without the extra charge for that. Everything else was great
