Tradition meets modernity in House-class - The traditional house from 1880 was completely renovated in 2016, with quality finishes and furnished with great attention to detail. Since summer 2016, the gates of the former captain of the house for holiday guests from near and far are open.

The detached house is located in the first row to the promenade between the scenic Carolinensiel and the North Sea beach of Harlesiel.

The light-filled house has three floors and offers over 90m² enough space for 4 people. The captain's house on the Friedrichsschleuse is the perfect holiday destination for guests who are looking for that special something.
From the warmly decorated entrance opens into the spacious living and dining room with direct views of the Harle with the historic drawbridge. The living area is equipped with real wood flooring and has a cozy couch corner with a flat-screen TV, white cottage furniture, a dining area for 4 people and a free-standing fireplace.

The ground floor also is the modern, fully equipped kitchen with direct access to the 25m² terrace. Whether sunbeds, seating area with umbrella and beach chair - no wishes remain open!
Both the ground floor and in the basement you will find modern spa bathrooms with high quality fittings: Ground rain showers, towels and under-floor heating, as well as an infrared sauna for soothing warmth after a day at sea.

In well-insulated floor there are two spacious bedrooms and a separate toilet. The master bedroom with hardwood floors and views of the Harle has a comfortable double bed, a cot and plenty of storage space. The second bedroom has twin beds for you.

In the basement with separate entrance you will also find a washer and dryer. The house has its own parking space.

Tickets for the historic paddle steamer Concordia II are included in the rent. Through our cooperation with the neighboring Hotel Schluister Park, you have the option to start your day relaxed and there to enjoy the rich buffet breakfast.

Kapitänshaus war einfach super, es stimmte alles.

Dieses Haus liegt sehr zentral. Von hier aus kann fußläufig viele Geschäfte und Restaurants erreichen. Fahrradtouren sind auch von hier aus gut zu organisieren. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Das Kapitänshaus ist sehr empfehlenswert, wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Sowohl der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin als auch das Haus selbst sind sehr nett. Wir haben uns vom ersten Augenblick an wohl gefühlt. Direkt an der Harle gelegen ist es ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Spaziergänge in Carolinensiel und Umgebung. Zu empfehlen ist auch eine Fahrt auf der Harle mit dem Raddampfer „Concordia“.

Wir waren für 7 Nächte im Kapitänshaus an der Friedrichschleuse und haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen und uns bestens erholt. Das gesamte Ambiente, die Sauberkeit… einfach alles hat gestimmt. Es war immer wieder schön von den Ausflügen „nach Hause“ zurückzukehren. Wir können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Es gibt nichts negatives über dieses schöne Haus zu berichten. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen.

Wir können es nur weiter empfehlen. Hier hat aber auch alles gepasst.!!!

Auch hier hat alles super geklappt !! Ev zu erwähnen , dass wir für die Waschmaschine zahlen mussten, obwohl ansonsten alles vorhanden war( Gewürze , Waschmaschinen Tapps, Spülmittel , Kaffee, Tee , Klopapier , 1 Flasche Wein , etc.)
