For a stroll through the town, you can travel to Wolfach and Furtwangen or to Freiburg, which is a little further away. Thanks to its central location, you can also reach France relatively quickly. The Gutach Valley is sure to inspire you. Gutach has a summer toboggan run and the largest open-air museum in the region, the Vogtsbauernhöfe Hornberg.
