To see in Bastia, on foot or with the little tourist train: the Old Port, the surrounding streets and the Citadel whose ramparts house the Governors' Palace and the ethnographic museum constitute a set of military, administrative and residential buildings representative of the Genoese urbanisation of the 16th and 17th centuries.
The Place Saint Nicolas and the adjacent main arteries are topped by tall buildings that bear witness to the development of the city in the 18th and 19th centuries under the impetus of a very enterprising financial and merchant bourgeoisie.
I hope this information will give you a better idea of the place, however, do not hesitate to consult the city's website.
I remain at the disposal of holidaymakers via Vrbo to provide them with all the information relating to their stay.
