Grand Caribbean West unit 102
The unit itself is very clean with great amenities. The only complaint is about the bed in the main bedroom. It was very wobbly and squeaky. I think it’s time for a new frame.
The pool area was nice but we didn’t enjoy that the hot tub had children running/ jumping from the pool to the hot tub. Also, the water wasn’t that clean in the hot tub. It looked green and dingy.
Although the beach access is close( right across the road) we could not sit on it or rent any chairs. The beach on either side of the public access was private for the resorts on the beach. So if we had chairs, we could only sit within the narrow public access. We actually sat in the chairs for rent with umbrellas( not knowing they were only for the resorts on the beach) and waited for the attendant to come over. But instead a security guard came over and asked us if we had a wristband. We said no. We told him we were waiting for the attendant to come over so we could rent the chairs. He told us we had to be staying at the resort on the beach to rent a chair and he told us to leave. We could only walk along the beach or sit in the public access section. So be aware of that.
