We had a terrific stay in the cozy & super clean cabin. Everything was in good working order and kept up to date. It felt like we were at home from the moment we walked in. The location is very close and convenient to all nearby attractions and is located in a quiet rural neighborhood. We can’t wait to visit again!
Lovely little three night stay on the snowy Smokey mountains. The sweet retreat was clean and cozy. Though we didn’t use the hot tub it was a very fun stay. Would definitely stay again.
If you are in Wears Valley during snow this is the ideal spot. Great views with easy access to the main road. Fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. He’s small but he felt big in this area.
The cabin was beautiful and nicely decorated. Kitchen was well supplied with everything needed. Fireplace was really nice! The deck was great for relaxing and enjoying the view and the fresh mountain air! The yard was a plus for the dogs Overall it was a 10!
Wear's valley location was awesome. Beautiful, peaceful and quiet. Also convenient to GSMNP and Pigeon Forge.
Cabin was very neat and clean. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Host was prompt with info and instructions.
My family and I absolutely loved the cabin! It was beautiful, very clean, and spacious. It had an amazing view of the mountains and not far from attractions. The owner went over and beyond to take care of me and my family. We definitely recommend this cabin!
If you are looking for a clean place to stay, with a pet, this is your spot! Beautiful mountain views, spacious fenced yard, and comfortable beds! Just a few minutes from the fun of Pigeon Forge and the beauty of Cades Cove. We had an amazing time!
We enjoyed our stay very much, the cabin is beautiful, love the decor, loved having coffee and devotion on the porch looking at the mountain! the host was great & I thoroughly enjoyed the snack basket that was left, and I felt I could text or call him if I had any issues, Hopefully we be staying there again real soon ! Thank you Tyler!
We stayed here for a short spring vacation with our 2 dogs. Cabin was great and as described. Very clean and a good location. Fenced in yard was great for the dogs. Also, Tyler is a great. Responded quickly and very helpful.
Everything with the cabin was as described in the listing. Cute decor. The fenced area was wonderful for our dachshunds. Hot tub was clean and very nice. Cabin is easy to find. Owner was kind and quick to respond to questions. Will definitely keep in mind for future trips
Good layout of the house. Fenced back yard with fire pit and grass not dirt! No fleas or a single insect bite while at the house! Have you ever found one that had a carport this one does no getting wet. A gas grill with a full tank to use. Hot tub. We found a gem and we will be back. Amazing host.
We had a great stay overall, and Tyler was extremely responsive and accommodating. The location in Wears Valley was beautiful—peaceful and away from the crowds but still convenient to attractions. We especially loved the nearby restaurant Elvira’s and the charming town of Townsend (highly recommend Peaceful Side Social restaurant as well). We really appreciated the thoughtful snack basket and toiletries the host provided! The carport was also great to have, especially for keeping the car covered from the weather. Another big plus was that the cabin was easy to get to—no need for 4WD, which isn’t always the case in this area. That said, there were a few things we wish we had known beforehand. While we were aware the cabin had three floors and stairs to all bedrooms, we didn’t realize there were no interior doors—including for the downstairs bathroom, which only had a shower curtain for privacy. The furnace makes noise throughout the night, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs. The porch had a lot of carpenter bees and bird poop and the bed was a bit uncomfortable. We also had some issues with cleanliness upon arrival, but Tyler was very responsive and addressed concerns immediately. With that said, the beautiful location and scenery still make this a great getaway!
My Husband and I had a great time in the Sweet Retreat. Tyler was an awesome host and checked in with us regularly. Everything was clean and well maintained. Bed in the master was very comfortable which is always an issue for us even in five star hotels. We will definitely be recommending this cabin and will try to be back very soon. Also our fur babies enjoyed the fenced in yard to run around in and play. Thanks Tyler for making our trip so much better then staying in a small hotel room.
We stayed here for our 30th anniversary and enjoyed our time at the cabin immensely. The cabin is located in a very quiet area with great views of the mountains. The cabin was clean and tidy with all the essentials you need. We couldn’t find the ice maker listed so make sure you bring ice. The car port was a nice feature since it rained a little when we arrived. We really didn’t experience any issues while staying here. There are some really nice restaurants within a couple of miles from the cabin and the driving in Wears Valley is very scenic. Overall our stay was wonderful.
I managed to book this cabin for my wife's birthday. It was the perfect location for our travels while we were there. Easy location to get to Cades Cove, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. The cabin was really nice. The host really has his guest in mind with treats for the stay, a full length mirror that my wife really appreciated, including a nice clean well decorated cabin that was truly enjoyed. We also loved the parking areas that kept us and our vehicle out of the elements. The protected dog area will make us consider bringing our Lucie next trip. Thank you so much for making this stay so enjoyable
My husband, myself, & our Chewie had a fantastic winter trip in this beautiful cabin. Tyler was just the best host. He checked in several times during our month long winter trip. This cabin is beautifully decorated. Our scarred cat cocker spaniel Chewie took to the steps & fenced backyard like a duck in water. We got to watch Super Bowl Sunday & Daytona 500 with a warm fireplace. We highly recommended Tyler & his Sweet Retreat Cabin! 10 stars ⭐️ 💖
Just a couple suggestions. The fenced area was just wonderful for our pups. However, the lawn was about a foot high and hard to see their business. The covered deck was nice, but there was much-needed bird dropping cleaning needed.
These were small issues as our stay was quiet, peaceful, aling with a beautiful sunrise over the mountain. There are several good restaurants just minutes away. Further, we visited Look Rock trail and tower with the best views yet. If you have pets, this place is recommended. We are considering coming back to this cabin.
Thanks Tyler!
God Bless!
