The Kirk house worked great for our stay in Brownsville. The place was very clean and comfortable, it worked great for our family. Kathy was great to work with.
We work in the construction field, and our team had to work in this area, and they absolutely enjoyed their stay at the beautiful, clean house with a pool and fire pit. I spoke with the owner once and she was so very kind and hospitable!!! 10/10 all the way!
Very clean and spacious. Ample room for 4 adults and 2 kids. Kitchen was great if you need to cook. Snacks and coffee available. Hosts were friendly and quiet (they live downstairs).

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We appreciate you. I’m glad you visited us in Burnsville. Come again anytime I’ll bake some cookies.
Best kitchen I have ever had at a rental. Just note that this is the upstairs of a home, not the entire house itself. I fear my friends and I may have been loud and the host was extremely friendly so hopefully that did not disturb them.
The property was a lot larger than we expected. We visited as a company for work. The parking handled all our trucks and a trailer. The inside was remodeled, modern and very comfortable. We definitely enjoyed our stay! Never got the chance to jump in the pool, we will next time for sure.
My retired golf buddies and I stayed here for 2 nights to play courses in the area. It was clean and comfortable for 4 of us. We ate out so did not use the kitchen much but it looked well stocked.
We thought we were renting the whole house as shown in the picture. It was actually an apartment on the property.
Enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
The house has been restored well and Kathy did a lovely job of decorating the house for fall (we were there for Thanksgiving). A homemade apple cake greeted us. Superb hospitality. House was perfect for our needs. Our son is at OSU and we brought Thanksgiving to him. Space for everyone (four adults) and the kitchen is big so perfect for Thanksgiving cooking. We drove through the cute little town of Brownsville but didn't spend any time exploring. A great place to stay.

Odette and her family were very awesome. Guests they left our place clean and tidy. We would definitely be happy to host them again super nice people.
Kathy was easy to talk to and responsive to my questions. The place was light and bright with comfortable beds and a great spacious kitchen. It would have been
Nice to have a second shower and to know ahead of time that the twin bed room was accessible only by passing through the largest bedroom… a great situation for a family but not quite so great for mother-in-law quarters. Not a complaint just observations. The owners have done a great job setting up
very comfortable accommodations.

Thank you so much for your review Lila I appreciate your feedback. You are right it is great for a family situation as long as the mother-in-law can stay in the second bedroom it would be awesome. I wish we would’ve put a second shower in that bathroom since there was room for it hindsight 2020.
We booked this apartment which is located behind the main big house. The apartment is clean and nice. The kitchen is big and it accommodated our family of 4 well. Things I wished I knew before getting there, the town is super small, not much to do there. The few dinning facilities closed early on Sunday, so we drove another 20 minutes to go find dinner in another town.
The apartment is directly attached to the main home so you will hear noise coming from the main house as I am sure they hear noise coming from the apartment too.
Recommendation for owners, fix dinning table and chairs, too wobbly so some screws will help. Couches are a big No for sleeping, too old and too uncomfortable. Add blinds to the 2 small bedroom windows. Change refrigerator water filter.
FYI if you’re tall this place is not for you as the ceilings are low and you will hit your head.
The stay was pleasant. We were there 3 nights.
